Splatoon is doing really well. I will be honest and say that I never thought it would. Animal Crossing and Yo-kai doing well, too.

Not an awful opeing for Luminous Arc even if it might have sold less than the other games.

EDIT: That is only one of the Fire Emblem versions? Or are both versions counted as one SKU?

one year ago, no one would believe the Wii U would be ahead 2014 at the same point considering there would be none of the usual sequels to boost numbers like in 2014.
and now here we are with Splatoon on track to pass MK8 if things keep up.

Splatoon's perfotmance is really stunning. If Nintendo's smart Zelda won't be the only Wii U port they prep for NX launch.

Obon holidays week is this week (though I guess you're counting saturday and sunday in it). And I doubt the update did much. School holidays + new TV ads on the other hand...

If Nintendo wants to watch the world burning in rage and joy, a portable Splatoon only for New 3DS would be surely enough to make it happen.

Anyway, Mario Kart 8, New Leaf and Minecraft will never stop to surprise me.

Buh. Luminous Arc low; Taiko not having any legs. Disappointing.

Pretty poor for Nobunaga and Romance of Three Kingdoms too. According to Famitsu they pretty heavily overshipped.

Splatoon doing ink-redibly though. And hardware is pretty 'alright' this week, for a change.

Taiko's having okay legs. I bet it crawls near 200k in the end like the first Wii U game. Not a great result given the franchise and platform but not a complete bomba either.

I wonder if they'll bother trying a PS4 Taiko?

Holy shit at Splatoon. It doesn't just have legs (tentacles), it's actually moving up in the charts. O_O

I hope Nintendo is taking notes. More fresh experiences like Splatoon. More brilliant stuff from the young guns at the company!

Also, keep it coming with the good marketing strategies. They've approached Splatoon in an interesting way which will likely pay off.
