Trabajan en un juego clave y secreto para PS3 y 360 que saldrá entre 2009 y 2010.

Meristation ha podido saber que MercurySteam Entertainment, la compañía española tras Scrapland y Clive Barker's Jericho capitaneada por Enric 'Lem' Álvarez, se ha asociado con Konami Europa para desarrollar un "título clave en el plan de lanzamientos para la campaña 2009 - 2010", según la compañía nipona. La filial europea hará público el acuerdo en las próximas horas.

El desarrollo se lleva bajo el máximo secretismo y no ha trascendido ni siquiera el título del juego o si éste pertenece a alguna saga. Dave Cox, Productor de Konami Europa califica al equipo español de "muy talentoso" y asegura que el proyecto es muy ambicioso.

Hemos contactado con Enric Álvarez quien nos ha comentado que ya llevan unos meses trabajando en el proyecto a pesar de que el anuncio no se haya hecho oficial hasta ahora. No ha podido contarnos nada más, pero asegura que están muy ilusionados con este juego que estará disponible tanto para PlayStation 3 como para Xbox 360.[/B]

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has announced that Spanish development studio Mercury Steam is to produce a new title for PLAYSTATION®3 and Xbox 360.

The as-yet unnamed title will be the latest release to be overseen by Konami's fast-growing European Development team. Details on the new project are currently shadowed in secrecy, but the title will form a major part of Konami's 2009-2010 line-up.

"With the development of New International Track and Field coming to an end, it is fitting that we are ready to announce this significant addition to our European Development roster," commented Dave Cox, Head of Product Planning for Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH.
