oh please come on. the only reason you and people like you are not complaining is because you didnt experience the bullshit yourself. Its not the fucking beta, its the fucking sign bullshit on a shitty website.
i myself been trying to register for more than an hour, and all i keep getting is a mix of "website unable to load" or "due to inactivity, blah blah blah, return to top page", meaning you have to reenter all the information all over again, hoping to dear God that you dont receive another error in the process.

of course, to you and others, that dont sound so bad. maybe you'll say 'deal with it' or ' you act like you payed for anything'. thats not the point, its just fucking annoying and retarded.

Bob I respect you a lot as do a lot of other people on these forums. So instead of calling you a fucking idiot like I want to do I'll politely explain that perhaps when you registered it was quite easy. For myself and MANY other people it has become damn near impossible because of Konami fucking up. Yeah I'm quite sure that

Is all my fucking fault because the gods at Konami have decided that everybody else having problems and myself are too stupid to play the MGO beta. It's user error when the page that they're requiring people to sign up on isn't working. It's user error that Konami has decided that you're going to need two more IDs just to play a fucking beta and probably the full retail version of the game. It's user-error when Konami printed 9 and 11 digit codes that don't work yet. (Konami did WTC?) Seriously instead of being all offended that a lot of people aren't having a positive experience with this maybe read through the couple of threads where a lot of people are having problems.
 
The site is a fucking piece of shit. Now I'm getting time out errors. If they want me to sign up for an account, sure I'm fine with that. But when they make the experience this shit I've got to say fuck it.

now i wouldn't be pissed if, as the op says, the konami id sign page wasn't an error prone fucking nightmare. if the page times out it sends you to start the sign up process all over again.

i, plus god knows how many others, would never have been enticed by a pre-order if it wasn't for a beta key and konami damn well knows that. are they really being just handed out now in NA?
 
I guess people who didn't have a problem lived in Japan or signed up for an KID early and not waited till the last day to do it?

wow here we go again. no one said its hell? its fucking annoying. i read the intructions, i had no problem DOWNLOADING the fucking beta. READ into my post, and see its all about the sign up. and yes, you and people like you, that dont understand the fucking difficulties select individuals are experiencing.

Same here. Registered last night with no problems. Sucks that people are having problems though. Guess I just got lucky.

One thing has nothing to do with the other. There were all sorts of cats like you on the Hellgate London forums when it was in BETA too...

*fills out form*

"This email address is already registered to another Konami ID"

*tries another email address*

"This email address is already registered to another Konami ID"

*tries different konami ID and combination of the above 3 email addresses*

Waited a half hour and tried all of the above again.

Didn't work. -_-

First, I have read the threads and it sounds like lots of people got the 'free' keys from the japanese site last week and now those keys don't work (go figure) and people want to blame Konami. There are also lots of people who sounds like they are close to tears or ready to fight about it, which is sad. Didn't really want to just call everyone stupid, but its the tone of the argument that pissed me off. The Beta isn't a ClusterFuck until its at least started. It doesn't even start for 4 days, how about we wait until then to freak out about how were getting personally screwed by Konami. Fair enough about my attitude, but it incenses me when I start reading people getting indignant things like this.
The download started EARLY last night, if anyone has the download, YOU ARE FINE. Don't freak just yet.
Honestly its the thread title the pisses my off, trying to write off the whole thing before it starts.

21st is when it's supposed to start. If they keep that date, 5 days for people to get all the information or whatever they need.

I got my IDs on the 14th, so...have fun guys!
 
Hopefully this Konami Code nonsense is only for beta. Otherwise I'm dropping out of this online thing for MGO. I'll just play the single player in MGSIV.

Some people can't register. You don't suppose the website trouble have anything to do with all these people freaking out and bombing it maybe? You don't even need the key yet, don't just throw your hands up and give up yet!

Now to see if the 9 digit code I was given works.

edit: fuck, never mind. It timed out during the last step. At least I got that far once though.

Once, and again, this is not about the fucking beta download itself, its about the damn website. Do you still not get it? We cant even see if the beta will be a clusterfuck with the bullshit going on with the registration.

And maybe it incenses me and others that when we follow instructions, to every extent, the results are bullshit. So, fair enough about our attitudes as well. Motherfucker.

I have to disagree here. Alot of people signed up for Konami ID the day "MGO Beta" was announced for Japan, and they don't remember it or didn't expected it to matter at that moment.

I signed up for MGO Beta when it started in Japan and that account is still active. If it says that the email address is already registered, then they should try recovering password for it.

I never did that. The registration process is just fucked. Password recovery just says I've never registered. Hopefully they'll sort this shit out before the beta begins.
