I tried registering a little while ago. I had no idea I needed to do anything else but input the beta code I got when pre-ordering. I'll check it tonight to see if they fixed it. Not really motivated, June 12th is coming soon enough. I still have to finish replaying MGS and the other ones. Pre-order disc was still worth it to me, I got some info I hadn't gotten before.

Having to register for anything outside PSN even once, much less twice, is beyond retarded and -will- hurt the reception to this game if it doesn't change.

Hopefully Konami listens to enough feedback to get the message and change it before the final version.

I have to disagree here. Alot of people signed up for Konami ID the day "MGO Beta" was announced for Japan, and they don't remember it or didn't expected it to matter at that moment.

I signed up for MGO Beta when it started in Japan and that account is still active. If it says that the email address is already registered, then they should try recovering password for it.

My registering attempt experience:

*checks to see if Konami ID is available*
"ID is available"

*fills out form*

"This email address is already registered to another Konami ID"

*tries another email address*

"This email address is already registered to another Konami ID"

It's times like these that I'm glad there is GAF. It was GAFFERS who said that the English version of Konami ID site was up and running a couple days before this.

So I registered and the only problem was the Game ID password because I wasn't reading and it said it has to be all numbers and I was using letters. I dealt with Wii Friend's codes so I'm patient. It wasn't that painful, you just have to read carefully.
