SLAAAAAYYYYYYEEEEERRRRR!!!!!
Ragnarok is coming.Plot twist - Konami buys Sony and makes 1st party Pachinko machines.
Ugh, nightmare fuel.
Plottwist: Its actually SONY who bought SEGA.
Imagine the look on peoples faces lol
Everyone is expecting Microsoft to do it right now
Nintendo bought Sega and Microsoft bought Nintendo instead. lol
MS bought Waluigi to put him in their smash knock off
SEGA are also closing a lot of really cool arcades due to COVID.He already left Sega in 2008 though

would be amazing to play all konami pachinko on my Xbox sXMicrosoft should buy Konami to send Sony fans into a coma.
Coincidence?
I'm now wondering if this is more of a large library of older existing Sega games coming to xbox through BC/GP and showing all the enhancements to people's favorite titles. Maybe an exclusive here or there too...? I do doubt a full on acquisition. (I would love to see them go in together on a Japanese Xbox though)
Yeah I think of that also. I don’t see SEGA getting bought by MS but after Zenimax anything is possibleMS will 100% have some representation from Sega, but it could just be some games on gamepass or more agressive porting to the platform.
Sakura Wars on xboxYeah I think of that also. I don’t see SEGA getting bought by MS but after Zenimax anything is possible
And PC tooSakura Wars on xbox
Sure it could happen but I just don't see it happening. Bethesda made sense but what are some big blockbuster games that Sega has that Microsoft would want to acquire? If there are some do they even appeal to most Xbox users (who are typically American)?
Coincidence?
It wouldn't be a trick - a little bit of paper glued over the Xbox symbol. The rumours said Sega would handle all the marketing and use their connections locally to help garner more support for "their" console. What is the point of rebranding the console to Sega? Are the Japanese really that vacant? It has to be more than that.

Shit if Sega is just gonna rebrand xbox under there name in Japan I'll buy one even though I have a PC. I need a Sega labeled device under my tv dammit!
This would essentially become the Dreamcast 2, but with Microsoft funding behind it. Super powerful box backed by a super deep wallet making super beloved games that the Japanese community gets to benefit from. Nothing to be vacant about really.
But my point is that if its the same as an XSX anyway, does the Sega branding alone make it more appealing in Japan? Seems silly to me.

100% yes. It being a "Japanese" Product makes it 10x more attractive in Japan even if it's the exact same thing

yeah. But who cares about the Japanese home console market? Everything is mobile/handheld there. The home console market is dead basically, no?
Weird. I thought the Japanese were wiser than that.
