So far, I'm enjoying this version. The first thing I did was go into survival to earn some achievements then after a few minutes I switched to creative to start building a city.
I haven't explored the world yet to see how large it is though.
need to try this
Edit: couldnt get this to work... lame.
Just tried this and it doesn't work for me.
I guess the PS3 version is missing a patch to do that.Has anyone got world migration working? When I try it says (rough translation) "no migration data found - on PS3/Vita edition send to migration storage and then try to download again on PS4 edition"
I tried uploading to my PS+ storage but no difference. I had a look on PS3 edition to see if there was some option in there but don't see anything :/
How well does it run compared to 360 and PS3 version?
ETA on the US version?
Anyone know if this supports using the Vita as a second screen?
Can't seem to get it to work.
Same here, I bought game unlock for 0kr.For some reason, the game unlock was free. Am I missing something?
I already own the PS3 game but expected to pay a few euros to buy the PS4 version.

Ok, makes sense.7PM in England then![]()
Ok, makes sense.
Yea, basically 6x longer and 6x wider map will make for a pretty significant boost in explorability. Your kids will appreciate it, I'm sure.Is this a big deal? Were the worlds noticeably limited on PS360? I'll get the upgrade for the kids if it so.
Edit: Thanks for reply, MasterBalls. I'll just get it. Why not eh.

It's a bit shitty of them to not have a true cross-buy system IMO, and make people pay for an upgrade. I mean they've made 453450 times more money that many indies who give upgraded versions away for free.
Yep, there is ato defeat in the end. It's entirely optional if you want to go down that path or not though. but from what I see it's not easy and would take you a while to get to that stage to be able to go there and stand a chance.dragon

You could make one? Check the OT dibs thread, you could even make it if you liked. Discussion seems pretty cool around MC considering what a huge game it is.I have it for Mac but playing it online w friends is a hassle. Considering ps4 version. Are there any Minecraft for ps4 psn exchange threads?

Probably because they had to outsource the work for these ports.
Also really good port. Blitworks are the best.So did a lot of indie developers. Take the vita version of Don't Starve, for example. It was outsourced, but when it eventually released, it was free for anyone that had the ps4 version.

UPDATE ON THE VITA VERSION RELEASE DATE

Bah. Either that's a LOT of bugs to be fixed, or my inkling was right and they've basically been ignoring it to get the PS4/XB1 versions out.
Well yeah, my thoughts exactly. Still sucks. They need a bigger staff, they'll be having to keep 5 separate versions of the game up to date with new content. The X1/PS4 was probably a bigger priority.
That's definitely big.I did a few tests with Minecraft PS3 a few months back for personal research purposes
With a completely flat, quadratical world, going one from side to the other, you'd need 3.5 minutes to traverse it when running and 7.5 minutes when walking slowly. That's with a world size of 862x862 blocks.
so with 6x longer and wider maps:
running: about 20 minutes
walking: about 45 minutes
that's with completely flat maps, and moving constantly. not too shabby I guess. when playing normally, of course you'd have mountains and lakes and whatnot in your way.

I agree, they need more staff. They are spreading thin on platforms. I am glad they added PlayStation to their arsenal, but it also means 4 times as many platforms as when they began.Well yeah, my thoughts exactly. Still sucks. Yeah I imagine the content updates will take like a year now.I agree, they need more staff. They are spreading thin on platforms. I am glad they added PlayStation to their arsenal, but it also means 4 times as many platforms as when they began.
Microsoft has made a gazillion dollars; why can't they give me Windows 8 upgrade for free?
