if you mean, "if they use the motion plus in interesting ways and make zelda play in a way that's distinct from the way it has played previously," i think you can save your $50.
Meaning that as long as the next Zelda uses anything motion based it will be insta-shit to you? Better pack your bags.eggandI said:That is what I would mean if I had some rose colored glasses on. I don't so no.

As bad as that was, honestly I preferred that toFuu said:I'll be really random here but I just hope that in the next game they don't make Link put the rupees back into the chests if his wallet is full like he did in TP.
1-Finds chest with rupees.
2-OCD demands you leave it open so it disappears from the map.
3-Wallet is (always) full, so Link puts the money back into the chest.
4-Teleports with chicken to outside of the dungeon.
5-Buy useless shit at some shop.
6-Teleports back.
7-Opens chest, Link gets money, it remains open.

Oh well then that I can agree with.BrandNew said:Oh I do too. But that's where I differ from drinky, like a lot of things. But he's right on the general quality of the game, regardless of the system.
Look man, I know you fucking love you some Zelda 2. But you know that most of those who played through the Zelda series, casual fans to fanboys, usually don't think highly of Zelda 2.cartman414 said:Well, he does appreciate the Oracles at least, though according to one of his earlier posts, Zelda 2 is way at the bottom.

You can't exactly hold that against Drinky. There are many things you can though, but not this.

Zelda fan's claim to be all about challenge and difficulty, and yet most of them still consider Zelda 2 to be the black sheep.cartman414 said:Well, the thing is that he also happens to favor G'n'G games, so difficulty, one of the common complaints, sure can't be a complaint for him. He kind of does. It's drinky crow, who isn't typically known for making clearsighted posts. And BrandNew inferred that he knows his Zelda.
If anything, fans complain about the difficulty in the context of WW, TP and PH. There's challenging and there's outright unfair.Wrath2X said:Zelda fan's claim to be all about challenge and difficulty, and yet most of them still consider Zelda 2 to be the black sheep.
How many times have I heard a Zelda fanboy say "I want the next Zelda game to be hard!" and how Wind Waker and Twilight princess is for babies? And yet when a Zelda is actually challenging they won't stop bitching about.upandaway said:If anything, fans complain about the difficulty in the context of WW, TP and PH. I'm not saying the next Zelda must be difficult, I was just laughing at the fanbase.beelzebozo said:i don't care if the next zelda is easy or hard, so long as it's amusing. when did it become a requisite for a game to be tough for it to be a good time? i've enjoyed the difficulty levels on pretty much every zelda out there. the moment-to-moment enjoyment of them has very little to do with feeling challenged, to be honest--it's all sort of about getting swept up in this feeling that you're on a big fucking adventure and that you've got shit to tend to on an epic scale.

But if I had a choice, I would want the next game to be at least as hard as Ocarina Of Time.
Man I enter a world of magic and wonder when the overworld music begins as I set sail. Fuck was Wind Waker amazing.beelzebozo said:sure, totally. i didn't think you were saying that at all, man. just making a general statement that that's sort of how i feel about it. WIND WAKER, for example, i would never cite as a difficult game in the least, but when you're cruising the ocean in your boat, nabbing treasures, shooting down pirate ships, and suddenly night turns to day and that morning tune plays, then the amazing ocean travel theme kicks in. . . my god. it's that stuff, the stuff that's wholly separated from difficulty, that is really rewarding to me about zelda.

The mastermind behind Nintendo's Legend Of Zelda series has revealed that development on the new Wii version of the game is well underway and that he is hopeful of being able to show the game off at E3 next year.
Speaking in the January issue of Official Nintendo Magazine, Eiji Aonuma said that the firm was already in the process of creating scenarios, dungeon-making and so on.
He added that the game was already working with MotionPlus and that his team had already got a very solid response from the technology.
He said: You may be under the impression that we are still only in the early stages of development [but] in fact we are well into the making of the game
"Our team has been working on making the building blocks regarding the action the scenarios, dungeon-making and so on. We are well underway.

Yea, it's more-than-worthy, but there were remarks at this year's E3 that suggested it might make a 2010 date, and that the game was already into development (not early stages). I'm not sure where the early stages stuff came from, that was E3 2008.
