Fuck you cygnus for stealing my world series!!
I'll have you know I arrived at that prediction after a series of long and painstaking math- and computer-based simulations of various projection system pythag-records and fWAR totals and science. SCIENCE, dude.

A few days until all the spodaddies vaporize...

Anyway, I continue to hate Boston/New York series because ESPN rapes them and they are too frequent now, but I really think it is kinda strange how the season both starts and ends in Fenway for the Yanks.

You mean you don't enjoy the soothing sounds of Miller and Morgan?

And thenl central isn't good enough for the Brewers to be irrelevant this season.

Interesting the Dodgers are still most likely to win the division. Everyone is shitting on them.

seemed like the Dodgers became older this season. Padilla as the number 1!?

Th Padilla Floatia is back I guess.

Watch out for the Giants this year. Great 123 in the rotation. Speed with Sanchez, power and contact with Sandoval. They'll make a run at the wild card.

I'm excited to see Boston's best free agent acquisition at Fenway tonight:
Krista Lackey, John Lackey's impossibly hot wife.

Lackey is so ugly, I wonder how much he had to pay her.

Well their biggest free agent was Vicente Padilla. They lost Orlando Cabrera and the quietly good Randy Wolf.

Other than Cabrera their line up is still in tact and barring another suspension they get a full year of Manny, and the always improving Matt Kemp.

They've got a solid back end of the pen in Broxton/Sherrill and enough minor league depth to fill out the rest.

The rotation might be their biggest question mark area, but Bills, Kershaw and Kuroda is a nice trio.

Woo baseball!

Not subscribing to MLB.tv this year, but ESPN America shows enough games to make things bearable.

Predictions:

AL East-Yankees
AL Central-Twins
AL West-M's
AL WildCard-BoSox

AL MVP-Texiera
AL Cy Young-King Felix

NL East-Phillies
NL Central-Cardinals
NL West-Rockies
NL Wildcard-Brewers (by default, rest of NL will be awful)

NL MVP-Fielder (only because they'll get bored of giving it to Pujols)
NL Cy Young-Carpenter

Who is the Harper/Strasburg of 2011?
Harper/Strasburg quality? None. I think Gerritt Cole is the front-runner right now, though. Righty, throws high 90s fastball, hard slider, good change. Yanks drafted him in 08 in the first round but he went to college.
