schilling and larkin saying mad bum should go tomorrow
That seems like a panic move.

If they bring him out for game 4 wouldn't that mean we'd face him again in a possible game 7?
Karl Ravech's wig has looked so bad during the Baseball Tonight segments during the WS. When he is outside it is so much more noticeable. The wind and atmosphere fucks with it.
This antipathy doesn't make sense to me; if anything, you'd figure it was the reverse, given the blown call in the 1985 World Series. Regardless, good luck to the Royals, from a Cardinals fan.
Both starts would be on short rest unless there's a rain delay, right? Sounds risky. If they bring him out for game 4 wouldn't that mean we'd face him again in a possible game 7?
Lets just hope that the easier Game 5 matchup would help Shields get out of this funk.Oh, right... Well, I guess we'd have to beat him and insure there IS no game 7!
Anyone besides Cards fans realize the call didn't blow the game and got over it. The runner was put out at third. It extended the inning and that's about it. Then the wild pitch came and the walk and a hit. The Cards pitched that game away.
They fact we've had to hear about it for three decades wears on Royals fans.
Man, fuck this. I'm at a concert trying to forget this game, and the fucking bassist has a KC shirt on. I can't escape it.
Again, it seems really weird to hold this antipathy when the antipathy seems so bizarrely one sided.
I don't know about it being one sided. I've known too many Cards fans. Enough to call it a trend in my book rather than anecdotal.![]()
they didn't win the last two at home either though, did they?
The sudden influx of KC fans in the postseason is gross.
Everyone that's not a Giants fan is a Royals fan right now.
Oh it was definitely the fault of the call, that's pretty much agreed upon. But bad calls happen, and the Cardinals have certainly had many in their favor before.

There is so much wrong in this post that I don't even know where to begin.Hahahahaha, this might be the worst World Series ever in terms of seeing so many bandwagoner fans for a team.
It would be cool to see the Royals win the World Series though, just to see the KC fans dump them once they have the post-championship slump.
Ask any KC fan to name a player that was on the team before this year, and the universal answer will probably almost always be Prince Harry.

Such a salty Giants fan. Just wow.

He's been a lifelong Giants fan...since 2010.
Nope, 2 rings baby. I don't even care if the Giants win or lose. With how bad their pitching has been this year compared to previous years, I wasn't even expecting them to make the playoffs.
I just want to see a good World Series, and tonights game was fantastic, as were the first two games in their own different ways.
I just always love to laugh at the thousands of bandwagoner fans. No matter what team. But this is the worst I've ever seen it, hahaha. Sooo good.

Nope, since 1998 when I was 9, but thanks for playing. ^_^
it's not even hard for non KC fans to name players though
I mean you can list off a number of players from the current team such as Butler, Hosmer, Gordan and have a right answer... and I imagine a good number of people would know the 2009 cy young winner Zack Greinke. Plus tigers fans likely know Joakim Soria came from KC. And as a white sox fan I can safely say the horrid player Mark Teahen came from KC![]()
Nice job faking antipathy. Can we expect the same blasé attitude if you win the Series? I know you don't want to open yourself up for disappointment, but I would hate to confuse you for a hypocrite.
A Giants fan accusing other teams of having bandwagon fans is rich.
I don't even care if the Giants win or lose.
Nope, I will rub it in, rub it in.
Congrats on contradicting yourself in the span of twelve minutes. I'm not sure you even know what you're saying at this point.
At least we have your fun emoticons to look at. ^_^
I don't even care if the Giants win or lose.
Good God, if you're this salty over sports, I really don't want to know you in person.
I'm sorry Royals, you had a good run.
Yeah, I feel bad for any Royals fans born in the mid 80s or later too.
You mean every single "fanbase" ever? 90% of Royals fans are most likely just bandwagoners too.
The rules about going against the Royals. If you get more than 2 runs, it's an automatic win. So Giants have already won.
Giants have already scored 3. Royals are done tonight. They can barely even score 2 in an entire game.
If his point was to prove that we're all band-wagoners, a better argument would be that we could ONLY name past Royals. As in, we aren't as familiar with the current squad. I can probably name you the entire 2004 roster, for instance. Six months ago, I could probably name half of this team.

This post would work better if I said Giants fans weren't huge bandwagoners. Every team are huge bandwagoners. 2010 was cringeworthy for real Giants fans. But even that wasn't nearly as bad as this year for KC.
in this series you have the evil team that has won twice in the last 5 years and the team that hadn't made the playoffs since 1985.... it's very easy to see which side you want to root for if you aren't a giants fan![]()
Giants fans are the biggest bandwagon fanbase in sports. Ask any Giants what Buster Posey's real name and they'll probably say, "I'm not sure, but look at my fresh NL Champions shirt!"
