Bay Area fans are in general. I damn near got Vertigo trying to keep track of As and Giants fans in my area this season.
I was hoping you'd chime in, since you feel my pain. If only we got the '71 and '79 rematch we wanted.

If KC wins, that would really be a death blow to The Tigers. All that money spent trying to win a ring and here is this perennial loser winning it all.
1. Their talented younger players got more experience and got better.
So anyone rooting for the Underdog Royals are bandwagon fans now? ok...
To be fair the Tigers have been a horribly unbalanced team in general. They have a couple of really really good players, but they have so many holes and have had holes for years that they overlook such as their bullpen or defense. They make up for it with their talented stars, but as soon as one of those stars slumps the whole team goes into a slump. Thus they can win games over a season, but since they live or die by those stars once you reach the post season if one of them falters the team as a whole falls apart and boom it's over.
In general though the Tigers really only have 1-2 more years to compete and then they are going to enter a long dark age where their best hope will to be to spend in scouting as they will be getting decent draft picks as Miggy and Verlander and going to handcuff that team terribly unless they increase their payroll even more.
I mean if you look at the last 5 years of the royals only two things really changed
1. Their talented younger players got more experience and got better.
2. They got decent pitching.
which the pitching allowed them to go from a losing team to a winning team without their offence changing really at all.

Is this the greatest bullpen in recent memory or what?
I still hate that he did that. Way to wave that white flag, Donnie.yeah ill be surprised if bochy goes for it
mattingly would have already announced it lol
The only thing this post made me consider was the fact that I have been to nearly 1000 Royals games. Season tickets add up. And to think I only saw 5 games this year, half of them in Seattle.Hahahahaha, this might be the worst World Series ever in terms of seeing so many bandwagoner fans for a team.
It would be cool to see the Royals win the World Series though, just to see the KC fans dump them once they have the post-championship slump.
Ask any KC fan to name a player that was on the team before this year, and the universal answer will probably almost always be Prince Harry.

Technically we weren't in Kansas to begin with, but I always considered us a cross-state team.
A Giants fan accusing other teams of having bandwagon fans is rich.
Pretty nice here today. Low 60's, not too cloudy. Chance it could rain if it goes past like 8:30, but not guaranteed.Hows the weather in the bay?
I love that both stadiums this Series are so visually appealing. Kauffman is awesome, but it's hard to beat that view of the bay over the center field wall in San Fran. You guys are spoiled.
Why'd you leave two games halfway through, bro?The only thing this post made me consider was the fact that I have been to nearly 1000 Royals games. Season tickets add up. And to think I only saw 5 games this year, half of them in Seattle.

Ha. How about 2/5ths.Why'd you leave two games halfway through, bro?
Ya the view over the bay definitely wins. Kauffman is pretty fugly bro...
I'm hoping for a seven game heart attack series.
That is a terrible opinion. Everyone loves the renovated Kauffman. Folks were complimenting the hell out of it when we hosted the All Star game.
There isn't a bad seat in all of Kauffman. That doesn't hold true for AT&T (sections 331-336 in left field block view of an entire baseline).
WE???
what position are YOU playing?
Hope it doesn't effect the game. I'm awake, so I wanna see a game.Rain seems to have stopped, but still a bit windy up where I am. Game shouldn't be an issue rain-wise.
Geographically challenged Giants fans.

Only thing I don't like is the influx of ads all over the place, but that is something that has gotten worse for every stadium as the years have gone by.Yea I dont know how someone can dislike the place since the renovation. It's great!
Bumgarner's made it clear he would pitch on short rest any time, but not really his choice at the end of the day. Ain't Bochy's style. Why do writers/media always say in every postseason 7-game series preview, "*Insert ace* could pitch 3 times in the series!" ?
No, no he's not. Pitchers almost never do that anymore.
I thought Bumgarner was "country-strong"?

A beautiful ball park adds so much to the enjoyment of watching Baseball. Always makes me sad that the Blue Jays play in such a boring lifeless stadium =(
It's sad because the location of the Skydome should lend itself to a nice atmosphere. But when you're actually in there it just feels like a bunker. You only get a small sampling of what might-have-been when the roof is open as you see the top of the CN Tower looming overhead.
Haha, awesome. So this just showed up in my twitter feed. Scott Downs was playing catch with a SF fan in the stands before the game.
