I would wait until after the third and see if they can tack on a few more runs first. Ventura has been fortunate to go against Peavy twice in a row. He gave up a few runs in game 2. He can't afford to do that against Bumgarner.

Bum will pitch tomorrow. Ventura has probably been teh best starter for KC this postseason. he should pitch no more than 5 innings if the score holds up and they should run out Finnegan for two or three innings.
