Yea of course you will agree since you were livid at giants winning.
I thought they were rooting for the Giants during that series. At least that's how I remember it.Nah all you do is jump from bandwagon to bandwagon. I remember you jumping on the Detroit train in 2012 saying they would kill the Giants. Now look at you.
Might be bandwagon Cards fans. The backlash begins:

Yeah, last night was rough. I have had doubts about Shields all postseason and last night just cemented my fear. His ERA is a now 'stellar' 15.00. I'm already counting Game 5 as a loss. The bill on all those innings pitched this year has come due.
The Giants hitters just scare me. Sandoval can hit anything...he doesn't care if it's in the strike zone or not. And Pence....fuck that guy. He is so good and I hate him for it.
We better win tonight or this thing could be over quickly. I hate saying that but there is no way to sugar coat it.

As a Rockies fan, I'm having flashbacks.

I'm a Giants fan that is out of the loop when it comes to baseball "politics". Do people hate the Giants because they've been winning a lot or do they hate the players? Maybe the fans?

Shields just really isn't that great, but he's certainly better than what he showed last night. Had no command at all, it's clear a simulated game may have done him well. Too much rest.

I don't think anyone hates the Giants themselves, it's just that it's getting boring seeing the same teams in the World Series over and over.I'm a Giants fan that is out of the loop when it comes to baseball "politics". Mostly this:
2010: Win the World Series
2011: Shitshow
2012: Win the WS, despite being overmatched through most of the playoffs, and win with errors, misplays, etc.
2013: Shitshow
2014: Make it back to the WS on errors, misplays again come playoff time
Its known as the even year curse, and its in full swing here. No team stands a chance. All kidding aside, I think this year there was a lot of momentum for teams that hadn't been to the dance in so long. Royals, Pirates (did make it last year), Orioles, Angels. People wanted any matchup besides Cards/Dodgers/Tigers/Giants.
Yea, "shitshow" is a little strong.
Miami guy don't give a fuck. I actually get pleasure out of spotting him at events now.
At least the management didn't force him wear Royals gear just because he was sitting where he was sitting.Wow, so the Marlins guy spent $3k for the ticket and then left in the 7th inning. And the Royals management last night offered him a top private suite if he'd take it, or any merch he wanted if he'd put it on instead of his stupid Marlins gear, and he refused. He has six identical jerseys that all say "Marlin Man" on the back. And, he's going to be in the same seat tonight and in SF and back here for 6 and 7 if they happen. And obviously, he has too much goddamn money!
I wish I had enough money to even afford to travel to a WS, buy a ticket, and leave in the 7th.
I wonder if any teams will take action against that. His behavior is a little belligerent, especially chosing seats that are on camera the entire night. I dont buy the nice guy with money just likes sports story. I think he wants to provoke.
He's providing more investment into his own team than the team owner is.
Ned Yost has declared strongly that Royals ace James Shields is locked in as the Game 5 starter in the World Series despite the recent struggles of the right-hander.
Shields has yielded 11 earned runs on 23 hits in 14 postseason innings. He bottomed out Tuesday in the World Series opener against San Francisco, getting knocked out after three innings having surrendered five earned runs.
If only Luke Hochervar was on the roster. Brah needs his redemption arc.......
It's a new day, a new start. We're still in this.
I really hope Ventura keeps his cool. He's young, and might not handle the pressure of pitching in a must win game.
