Anyone else noticed how many similarities this movie has to Gattaca?

It seems weird to compare it to that when Kevin Spacey is just being HAL.

Stupid computer and its stupid faces ruined this film for me. It felt like a really interesting sci-fi movie with a robot designed by a four-year-old with the wrongest VA outside video games. It adversely affected my enjoyment.

They could have made the robot out of toilet roll tubes and sticky-back plastic and it wouldn't have felt any more out of place.

I have Sam Rockwell, but I absolutely love this movie and him in it.

The first page of this thread has a bunch of negativity directed at this film, which is funny, because it is good.
