I thought The One Above All was supposed to be the writer, thats kind of cheating in these discussion :/

Wasn't the only case of that when he absorbed the fat kai whose good heart or something turned him into a whimsical fat monster?
Didn't Buu do that to absorb people and become more powerful or something? Even Vegeta in the first season of Dragon ball Z before he reaches Earth was capable of destroying planets without being on them.
Anybody remember that show Deadliest Warrior?
Somebody should do something like that for the super hero world.
LOL.
I was gonna say Superman, but at least he has a weakness (Kryptonite).
Fucking Bruce Banner is seemingly indestructible when in Hulk form.
That's how ridiculous Batman and Batman Fans are :\ I don't think he has ever been beaten, though I haven't read all the comics. Even when he dies he actually doesn't, and just goes back in time.
There are actually two (yeah, I know)
one is the leader of the celestials, never been seen in physical form.
the other is sort-of analogous to the christian concept of god, and has taken the form of a comic artist (kirby?) in one of the few times it's been seen. That was an issue of Reed and Co needing a form to easily comprehend him in though.
Also that Vegeta scene was only in the anime and not in the manga. It doesn't really match with the power levels at that point.
Before anyone responds, what in all hell would Batman do against the likes of Shuma-Gorath or Dormammu? It's totally over his head.
Batman was beaten senseless by both Prometheus and Deathstroke- and deathstroke more than once, I think. And there was that time in Marvel vs. DC admitting Captain America was the better combatant...
Nope.

Early DBZ could planet bust.
Remember Roshi in DB could Moon-Bust and his power level was many times inferior to Raditz.[/QUOTE]
That's not proof of anything. Especially from Vegeta of all people. Cell said he could blow up the solar system. Should we believe him too?
The scene of him busting that planet easily was only in the anime.
The celestial TOAA has been seen plenty of times. He is the one with the block for a head.
Those are some fucking stupid designs, jesus christ.
And every cosmic being is either white or alien, GO FIGURE.
yeah, but his inability to fly sort of knocks him out of the running.
He's been punched into orbit and stuck there a couple of times until someone helped him out, and there are a few people (like Thor) that can just decide to stick him in the middle of the sun or the end of time if they felt like it

eh? the block with the triangles on the side? That's Scathan the Approver.

I've never seen a character with such a great differential between what his real power level is versus what fans think it as as Batman. He has wealth, genius, and the consequences of those two powers combined. Nothing more, nothing less. He cannot prepare for the inevitable or the utterly unknowable. Any one of the enemies that Doctor Strange faces on a daily basis would destroy Bats utterly.

Well, after reading The Infinity Gauntlet a few months ago I would have to say The Molecule Man would have to be the most overpowered character. I really don't know much about the character but has he ever reached his full potential?
they gave us fucking SKIING???
I forget the details, but the Celestials are the Cosmic beings that planted and influenced the evolutionary paths of races across the universe right?

guy was basically a blue balled god
This, one hundred times. He was literaly, God.

So the strongest Marvel character is a blockhead ::snicker::
Big fish in a small pond. Any other comic universe and he wouldn't be a big deal.

What? The guy had no weakness, at all. How someone would defeat him?

Indeed, he's relatively tame by most cosmic entity standards.

Which speaks volumes of the state of comic books in general. SMH.

Slayven is correct. Even the low tier cosmics (say, surfer, quasar, etc) are far more powerful.
i don't get this, if manhattan is a god that can basically control everything how are more powerful cosmic gods and what not defeat him? do they control everything, just more?Slayven is correct. Even the low tier cosmics (say, surfer, quasar, etc) are far more powerful.

shit is fucked up. He can defeat every single one of the superheroes mentioned above me and all the ones mentioned after this post. Even Goku.
