You may, I thank you for pointing it out, and you're right. However, contrary to what some fellow PonyGAFfers seem to thing, this has little to do with talent, in my opinion. It's just the result of observation, stubbornness and standing on the shoulders of giants. There is little I do outside of the standard pony formula that could be considered interesting, as my mediocre attempt at a freehand-drawn background in that picture shows. I plan to improve on that, though.

Its funny that the mcdonadls ones look much better than the real ones that small girls buy.

I got my collection of 5 from Big Lots, a discount/closeout chain, and before that the small figures used to show up at Meijer. I don't know if Meijer would carry them anymore, which is a shame because I think these are the nicest-looking of the ponies, even though Rainbow's mane is wrong and Fluttershy's just a Rainbow Dash recolor and with very limited availability.

They're supposed to be re-released shortly in "Blind Bags" for about $2 each. I'm eagerly awaiting those to come out here so I can get Fluttershy without dealing with eBay.
