So I turned on my Vita today to play some Borderlands and discovered my right stick was constantly making my character look down. I googled it but the only advice I received was "return it to Sony". Has anyone else had this issue and if so were you able to fix? Thanks.

Edit:
My vita is out of warranty and I would like to fix it myself if possible.

Sorry for you loss. Happened to me with my 1000 model. Which model do you have?

Back up your memory card/saves to the cloud/pc, just in case. You should still be able to even with a broken right stick.

Called Sony and they quoted the repair @ $129, which was too rich for my blood. I wound up trading the unit into a Gamestop for $80, then trading up to a 2000 model. I kept my memory card (you should too).

They probably refurbished it and resold it at a ridiculous price- but I picked the Vita up during their $129 christmas promotion- so I lost about 50 bucks during the ordeal, but was able to recoup a bit of money and get a sweet new slim model.

That is bad. But I do believe that Criminal Girls only required rubbing and no stick.
