These last few chapters of Narutos have been some of the hypest (or good) chapters in a long time. I don't trust him to keep it up for another arc, let alone part.

Unless we get something drasticly different, like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure levels of different. Something along the lines of those alternate story covers (i.e. cowboy western, 90s rpg style fantasy, 80s manga cyborg war) he put out would be interesting, but those might as well be their own things.

The last year or so of the manga has raised so many loose ends and red herring plotlines that I honestly can't decide if I want to see where they go or if the series should just stop where it is.

Remember when Madara spit out the Sage's Sealing Tools and Team Gai found them, only for it to never be mentioned again?
What exactly *was* Kaguya's actual plan, and why did she seem to be preparing herself to face some sort of external, unknown threat?
What were those mountain-top castles doing in Kaguya's alternate dimensions?

I get the feeling that a lot of plot got altered and stripped so that the manga could end on a nice round, attractive number like 700, and rushing to an end like that doesn't strike me as a very solid foundation to head into a whole new era from.

I won't be surprised if Part 3 does happen in some form or another. I just hope he takes a break and makes something good, rather than something tiresome i.e. the last 2 years of Naruto.
