Now we're talkin'.Fixed for better overworld.
What should have happened to Retro when Nintendo was drowning in Wii money.Could ND be a three game studio now? MEGASTUDIO
*blinks*Uncharted.... egypt..... stargates... :O
I reaaaaalllllly hope this is true. Uncharted has too many problems, Bend can deal with it.
But at the same time, I remember Amy mocking space marines in 2006 or so
Mass Effect and BioshockWhat are the other two?
Since ND has gone into more cinematic games, I was trying to reach back to a sillier game and treat it like it's indicative of the story they'd put in a Firefly-like game.

That's exactly what I want too. I'm sure, however, that they'll make any direction that they take interesting. So don't use space marines. Make it like Flash Gordon, with a retro-futurist aesthetic. That's what I want.
What is this starlight savage thing?
That's called Routine and it's being made by an indie developer.
Anyway, if they're working on a space game then i'd be surprised if it wasn't inspired by Firefly on some level. Amy expressed her love for that series several years ago when she talked about how she's pick Nathan Fillion to play Drake if she were the one making the choice.
Yup. Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3 were also unveiled at the VGAs.Last of Us was revealed at the VGAs right? Here's hoping they debut what they're doing next at the next one.
Doesn't matter what they're makng, just take my money and hand it over.
Yeah, but I'm saying it probably wouldn't be as goofy as Crash Bandicoot."Uncharted in Space" is pretty much exactly what a Firefly game would be. The roguish sense of adventure. The sarcastic humor in face of dark and high stakes situations. I know you were joking but the two actually share quite a few themes. No Bandicoot necessary. Hahahaha

So Randy Savage in space. Sold.
Yep. Also I think the Space X tour might have been something you'd do early in the project. The Uncharted 3 team has been working on something for at least 2 years now. They are being WAYYYY too obvious about the Starlight Savage to the point where I think they are going to show something completely differnt

This is hardly teasing anything. It's a joke.

But it still might have to do with space. Obviously the U3 team is not visiting SpaceX this far into development.I definitely don't think that what they're working on has anything to do with Savage Starlight. They've said that it was just a collectible that their melee designer cooked up during development. I think that they could just be playing along with the space theme to get people off the scent of what they're really working on.
Over the past year there have been several potential clues about what they're working on. I believe it was in one of the behind the scenes video for TLoU where someone originally spotted that pirate-themed artwork. Recently we had Dominic Monaghan mentioning that he's excited for the new Uncharted and then he popped up at Naughty Dog's offices not too long after that. And now we have all these space hints.
Nope, you're not alone. I'm really hoping for an Uncharted 4.Seems that I am alone in feverishly anticiating the ultimate Nathan Drake's adventure. Do it ND!
Whatever it is.... please let it be a 3D Platformer.
Insomniac's games have completely lost all their platforming elements this generation, Rayman has gone 2D, Knack from all we've been shown has 0 platforming and only combat, and RAD studio's have now went head first into 3rd person shooter territory. We've lost them all. All that's left is Nintendo.
Common ND please make a jaded 3D platformer fan happy. I will never forget the platforming sections in Jak 3. Perfection.
What if ND was using a smaller team to make a next-gen version of Rogue Squadron set in their own made up fictional universe?
Space-fighter ala Ace Combat? Except you can freely enter and exit the atmosphere of various planets?
