I'm all for it. Game feels much better to me.
And yeah, GAF doesn't care about 2K. It was basically me and a couple of people that posted in last years thread. The real 2K community is in YouTube lol
Does anyone know how to access the #24 Kobe Bryant player shown in the trailers? He's not on any of the historic teams and he's not in the overall pool of players. I have the Legend edition but I haven't redeemed the code for the additional digital content yet. Does he come with that code or do I access him through another method?

Its great day 1 this year. I know last year there were massive stuttering issues on release.
I'm running a 6600k with a 1070, and it runs perfectly maxxed at 1080p.

Another game and another year this game is fucking unplayable online. The stutters from online are gone but the shot timing is so fucked. Ugh
I saw somewhere that you can demand that he's traded with you. I'm not sure if it's true since I'm playing in Toronto and I'm not planning on being traded, but yeah.
Also, Orange Juice is fucking awesome. Had a moment where I was controlling Justice, I poked the ball loose, dove for it and launched it deep to my player who was running down the court. I switched back to my player and slammed it in.
The story seems decent too. The texting system can get pretty funny.

I have a few buddies that play with me every weekend. I would love to add some more gaffers to play with us.

EDIT: Fun story, my Brother In Law Preorderd the Legendary Gold Edition at Best Buy. They gave him the Legendary edition instead, but still charged him the $100 ($80 with GCU). He returned it saying they gave him the wrong game, they realized it, but then noticed they didn't get any of the Legendary Gold editions that were preordered. They just gave him the Digital version for FREE, then shipped him the Legendary Gold edition. He was kinda pissed, but I told him to sell the shit out of the Legendary Gold edition after he redeems all the DLC from it, and move on. I would have been happy as shit with that.

Hmm, I'm tempted. I'm running on significantly weaker hardware (2500k 7950), but the 2K series has looked the same since 2K14. I'll mull over it, I felt a little cheated with 2K15 for reasons I don't remember.
Not impressed so far with the game. MyCareer is better then last year from the few matches i played (not hard last year was absolute bullshit). but I don't like the hangar and the animation between leaving and comming back everything just takes to long. The caps seem absolutely stupid.
Decided to play some MyTeam, it's fun if you are in bronze league and the opponent has Curry, Lebron, Dirk and Pau in the starting lineup, only lost by 3 because the guy was just bad.

The UI performance is so much better than last year. MyGM isn't full of excruciating load times anymore. Pretty similar in structure but with some smart additions that add to the overall realism. Expansion teams and design sharing is also a welcome feature, currently managing the inaugural season of the New Jersey Swamp Dragons.

Wow just got the same cutscene 3 times in a row on practices which caused me to miss out on progressing the doin work meter. Awesome. Looks like I'm about to get it a 4th time too...

You should really only go to one optional practice between games because that advances the story sometimes, and go to the scheduled practices.

2K thinks it's Metal Gear Solid now.
It has a story but it's not like last year in that you can actually do stuff in your rookie year including playing all the games.

I got no problems with the story but at least allow people to skip them. I think the reason you can't skip them is it's hiding loading or something.

Warriors HoF is broke. KD dropped 46 on me by halftime. My whole team had 55 pts. They literally run up the court and jack up 3s.
One flaw of the AI tho. They don't really like to take set shots. Idk how many times I passed to the open man and he did a hop step jumper...

seems like I might do this.....its not even possible playing legit to even get close to maxing out your character, so gunning for the stat caps is kind of pointless.

So basically real life. Because KD has the offensive talent to do that, and that describes the Warriors offensive philosophy fairly well.

I've never seen in a 2K game where the AI does nothing but pull up 3s on fastbreaks lol. Even Draymond was doing it!
Also, anyone playing MyCareer. Abuse the OJ.
That pack is a rip off, its just players thats already on the game placed on the college teams from my myplayer mode. Then they wanna charge 1/4 the price of the game for day 1 DLC, and you can only us those teams in Play Now.
Those teams should have been in the game for free.
Also a lot of people still have not gotten the Dream Team which was suppose to be a preorder bonus, but yet 2K wants to charge for Day 1 DLC.
Yea they hooked me. I just bought the standard version of the game and no preorder VC bonuses or anything, is there a place/way to get any packs of vc cheaper anyway?

What are you supposed to get with the Legend edition besides the VC? The code worked for the Legend edition but the code didn't work for the Jumpman t-shirt. No biggie about the t-shirt.
As a total noob I'm liking the game a lot. Feel great when you sink a jumper and get nothing but net. What does it mean when the controller vibrates when you're on offense and in a crowd of people?
MyCareer is pretty fun this year, but my god, getting badges is even more grindy than last year. They just quadruppled the requirements to get one of those HoF badges. Need like 1200 assist for HoF dimer?!
I usually play SG since I like shooting threes, but went with a 6'7" Point Forward this year. It's fun, but gonna take awhile to do anything decently. I hate being drafted by the Kings though. Rudy Gay is a fcking ball hog. Only Boogie is a redeeming factor, but the rest of the team is ass. I miss playing in OKC like last year.

Played about 2 hrs of the full release on PC last night, excellent port as far as I'm concerned. Smooth frame rate, 1080p, all effects and AA maxed out.
Damn though, not even an OT on GAF and the game officially releases today? Lol, I guess the hype is pretty low on GAF at least.
