Those are just not in the same league.
The reprint has crept up at a few other online stores, but PA is certainly the cheapest.guess Play-Asia is the only place to get them?

MUCH CHEAPER yet still quality alternative:

I don't own that yet, but from some googling it looks like you can remap pads in Skullgirls, so it might be easy as long as it supports direct input pads. If it only supports Xinput, you can always use x360ce to map the Neo-Geo pad anyways.
Eh, I don't beat the everliving shit out of my controllers so I've never had any controller fail in my life.Doesn't have the SNK street cred though. Plus the reviews on that Amazon page don't really inspire any confidence.
You're lucky. I treat my controllers real good and sometimes they still fail.Eh, I don't beat the everliving shit out of my controllers so I've never had any controller fail in my life.

random question but does the new referral link no longer work?
I know a guy who buys the PDP pads pretty often to play on. I think he goes through at least two a year. I've seen one straight up stop working, permanently, DURING a match before. The PDP pads are not that bad. I have both a 360 one and PS3. They work well. The problem is that some crap out on you, the dpad to be specific. The same is said about the neo-geo though, dpad as well. At the price point though its not a bad investment. I am getting some neo-geo ones soon so i can do a comparison at that point.

referral links are against the TOS
I wish all controllers had a micro switched dpad.I opened one up today to check it out and to see how it works.
Same tech as the old Neo Geo CD pads but I'm thinking this one might be a little more durable as the actual micro switches seem sturdier.

I need this for Super Meat Boy. The 360's analog stick doesn't cut it.

What are the chances of this working on PS4, I know there could be issues with wheels/fightsticks

I ordered on August 17th and it just shipped on the 10th. Anyone have experience with Playasia's dirt-cheap shipping option? It cost 50 cents, so I'm not expecting them to rush at all. Just want an idea of when to keep an eye out for it.
One week. If you are unlucky, two to three weeks.
Dang, you can change the name, but you've still got that Pelican QC
Pelican makes the waterproof heavy duty plastic cases for cameras and firearms etc, I have them mounted on my motorcycle and they stood up to a crash and slide still intact with just cosmetic damage, guess their pads arent nearly as tough.
Stupid question - but this controller does work on a US PS3 right? I thought I remember reading some things about some 3rd party controllers not working on PS3s anymore.
I need to get one of these pads for Ketsui, Metal Slug, and some PS1 games. I actually cannot stand the stock Dualshock Dpad.
