I know there's quite a few people out there who want to get their hands on all the Crysis media they can. This one comes from the fansite, inCrysis.com. Some guy attended Gen Con 07 and they had a demo of Crysis. He posted 7 vids showing off different aspects of the game. The quality isn't the greatest but you can make out whats going on.

I wish the guy would have stabilized the camera a lot better and zoomed out. Oh well, can't have it all.

This is going to be one of the best games ever made. That's the thing with PC gaming....with me anyway. I'm out of the loop for a while, and console gaming more and more, but every now and again a PC game comes along and b*** slaps me in the face, grabs me by the balls and literally drags me back in. This will be the game to do it. Just phenomenal stuff.

Also, from those vids you could tell it was running really really smoothly. 1920 x 1200 max settings. Not bad for a 8800 GTX (at least that's what I heard they were using).
I love the little details like the crabs crawling about and even running to bushes to hide, the awesome looking turtles (one of which glitches and floated in the air lol). The only time I noticed a bad frame rate drop was when they chucked the explosive barrel in the house and blew it up. The frame rate really ground down then.

But seriously, the visual fidelity, the scope and scale, the awesome nano suit features, control, finesse, fluid movement and all. Just looks breath taking.

Also LOL at the names of some of the vids. "Throwing Koreans, throwing them in to water" laugh


Also the blood in the water was just... shock I was wondering when games would get to that level of movie realism. The way the blood clouds out as it mixes in the sea water.
