Wipeout Pulse is more than just a "good, if not great" game, easily the best handheld racing game ever and probably one of the best racing games released the past few years on any system.

What kind of issues exactly? Maybe i'll just wait for a price drop either way...that is kinda short for a full price game.

That and I still need to get Lost Odyssey and DMC4 this month.

Man I don't know, maybe they fucked it up for the American release or something? I already said I don't get why so low, so why are we arguing about this again? :(

You have to be very careful and precise to get the attacks you want. It's not bad, just takes some getting used to and sometimes you'll get the wrong attack. Also the stabbing motion of pushing the wiimote forward on the z-plane is really tough to get the hang of and you need it for some enemies.

Within a few hours you'll be in sync with the controls, but they could have been done better.

That sucks about Street Fighter. I don't buy the PS2 wiimote style controller. I will buy Chains of Olympus though.

Reviews are all over the Internet from different sites, and even 1up. Please... next time you make this thread, add the rumors. I'd do it myself but I don't have a subscription.

Well, as unweildy as it was, Dual Strike was a solid 9+ going by EGM standards. Still, I guess it's a step up from the 6.5 they gave the original AWars [NEVAR FORGOT!]. :lol

Mark MacD seemed to really like the game when he did the JP preview for the 1up show. He wasn't gushing or anything but it sounded like he would give it a 7.5-ish anyways.

Also: 10 for Puzzle Quest is sort of disappointing. I mean, why not give it 11.
