:o SOLD! (as if there was any doubt)

Thing I am most interested to hear about - the OST! What types of licensed music are we getting this time?

Oh man i know. Every GTA since 3 had an amazing soundtrack.

Page 20 has the most impressive pic.

You mean taking cover against the "active" SUV? That's awesome, something like that would have been easy to leave out. I hope the drivers have different reactions, some attempt to run you over, other simply cower in their seat and of course those who flee the vehicle.

1. It's 7 o clock in the morning on a Saturday Eastern Standard Time in America.

2. The whole freaking thing is in German and nobody can read it.

3. all trolling in the Lair thread...

:(

fixed :D

This game looks stunning, and I'm glad it's got a story that looks intriging. Now maybe I'll actually play through it rather then just messin' around with cheat codes. I don't see why the people at gametrailers think that this game is "rough around the edges" still. I'm baffled at that.

Anyways, Rockstar, I love the Jack T. reference. +10

God good, Niko is so ugly. Probably the ugliest main character since Frank from Dead Rising. He looks badass in the artwork but his weird facial hair plus huge schnoz just kills his ingame look.

I hope I can put a ski-mask on for the whole game.

This might just become my GOTY but i hope there is nice and normal chase view for driving the cars. I don't trust their wierd down-left view, i'm sure it's total crap.

Interesting that the picture with Niko on the bike that was in the trailer is apparently from the PS3 version, does that mean that they've been showing footage from both versions interchangeably just to show that they look the same?

The "follow the line to the destination" thing better be an option (I'm guessing all cars have GPS or something) I found from TDU that I don't really "learn my way around" when I'm just following directions.

i really doubt any of those pics are from the ps3 version. i don't see ''ps3'' in the text and i doubt they'd spend even more time on showing both version and give this magazine the scoop by showing the ps3 version. i do hope the ps3 version is fine though, but the fact that r* didn't even bother sending their trailer to sony for the press conference (:lol) is a bit worrying lol.

- If you're in a mission, the map not only shows a symbol, but even a line with the best route.

finding the best route is something you should be able to do own your own. that's the fun in going from point a to point b. now you're just following directions which is less fun imo. sure, you don't have to follow that route but still... *shrugs*

- The following shootout with the police is one of the best ever in a GTA-game according to the magazine. You have to cover and shoot while things fly through the room from the bullets. One policeman even fell down the escalator when they shoot him in the knee.

I agree. They should make this optional.

As a big GTA fan I'm not 100% sold on this game yet. I want to see some gameplay and hear a little more about multiplayer and stuff. I just haven't caught GTA IV fever yet.

So whats the difference in posting these scans from a magazine exclusive and posting the Halo 3 EGM scans?

EGM is an english magazine. These GTA IV scans are from a german magazine.

if it's anything like other games with the feature, it will find the "best" legal route, as in using real streets only. the actual best route will mean cutting thru alleys, parking lots and lawns...

but hey, they could always implement a way to turn it off, it should be pretty easy!

omg omg omg

If this isn't my GOTY I'll throw myself off a bridge in pure stunned disbelief. Everything about it looks SO ****ING GOOD.

I still cant get excited for this game. Its a day 1 purchase no doubt, I just cant get hyped for it though.

Err, why not? It's not like they took the screenshots by themselfs as it was just a presentation in R* studios. They weren't allowed to film.

Every screen is labelled and majority is from 360 version. Wouldn't it be extremely dumb if R* sent them screens and the guys from zine just label them randomly with whatever platform?

What is more likely? The thing above or that R* already sent signed sceenshots for them?

Look again, the pics are labeled.

Saint's Row had spoiled me so bad with this feature that I don't think I would have bought GTA IV without it. Glad that worry is behind me.

WOW it really looks like they're trying to make this as huge a leap as the one from GTA2 > GTA3.

Well it is a next generation format so they need to bring it into the next generation. Saints Row was basically a last generation game on next generation systems.

How is that even a fun way to play? At least half the fun of GTA is taking the craziest, most random paths and vehicles to complete missions or explore.

Beautiful, and I love the direction the game is taking gameplay-wise!

Day one purchase with my PS3:D
