New IP you really liked, but Dev died or whatever forcing no sequel

Blur is the one that immediately comes to mind for me. I've said it a number of times before on here, man that game was the best arcade racing game I have played in years.

Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale

It did a lot right, but it still had a lot of room for improvement. If it had any marketing for it maybe SuperBot would still be around to make a sequel :(

Yeah. As much as I've angrily ranted about certain things in the game, I really do like it. It's a shame it'll probably never get a sequel, because it could be so much better with a few things ironed out and some better presentation.

I want a The Last Remnant spiritual successor or sequel more than I want another Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts game.

Eternal Darkness

I came into this thread expecting to see this all over the first page but apparently the game is less popular than I thought. I would support you freakzilla, but since you're a freak I've got to go with the crowd. That's my name I'm putting on the line.

has anyone mentioned Blast Corps yet?

that game could have used a sequel with better hardware. it would have been heaven for destructible enviorments.

I really do not see how Kid Icarus: Upring is considered a "new" IP when there were two Kid Icarus games (the original and the formerly-US only Gods and Monsters) previously.

I would kill for Matsuno to make a Vagrant Story sequel. a sequel to Lost Odyssey would also be nice.

This x 1000. I don't understand how there isn't a sequel to Vagrant Story.

My votes are for Amalur and Blur. So sad when I heard both companies closed.

Also MLB Power Pros. 2K cancelled the 2009 version because they didn't want to compete against its shitty MLB games. I still play 2008 even when it is outdated. For me, is the best basebal experience on videogames. And speaking of MLB, I enjoyed MLB The Big 2.

And maybe it doesn't fit in this thread, but I'm still sad that the Rock Band bubble exploded.

A lot of fine posts in this thread, from Anachronox, to METAL ARMS (*cry*), Sacrifice, NOLF, too many Lucas Arts games to mention, Little King's Story, and more. I'll try to add some original suggestions.

GIANTS: Citizen Kabuto

Star-fu*kin'-topia

Also, will we ever see an MDK 3?

or a new Crimson Skies?

And how could this thread be complete without good old FZERO GX:

well it really only shares a name with it. kid icarus uprising shares far more in common with smash bros brawl than it does the previous 2 NES games.

SCE Cambridge Studio did some great stuff back in the day. Now they´ve become Guerrila Cambridge and are stuck doing Killzone games.

God Hand 2

Today's tech would do wonders for a sequel (WiiU commands making mtiplayer viable), but current Capcom seems unlikely to handle this or assign it to Platinum.

GX doesn't count until Sega is dead (or is that the joke?) and even then, the IP is Nintendo's, so good luck with that one dying.

Blur - The single player was a bit meh but the online was brilliant

Enslaved- Some gameplay issues aside, it had some well acted characters, story and potential to improve in a sequel

rip Cing it still hurts.

Another Code U would make me run out to buy a wii u. It already looks amazing on the wii.

Massive Entertainment is still alive and all, but they have died in spirit and now are forced forever to make boring multiplayer components or whatever for every other game that isnt theirs.

I was sure this would be a stealth Nier thread, but I was way off.

Will Vanquish ever get a sequel? It deserves one.
