She looked good in What Women Want.
And yet it's loads better than the "naturalistic" dialogue of The Amazing Spider-Man.
I'll have my perfectly scripted and timed dialogue over that "look how charmingly baffled I am when I deliver my lines!" shit that's permeating Hollywood these days.
They can't all be Jeff Goldblum. Lol.
Anyway. The Last of Us is looking amazing, but I think I may have to start going on blackout from here on out. I've been sold on this game ever since "Naughty Dog is making a new game." The E3 demo sealed it. This video was awesome, and really gives you a peak into the type of world ND have created.
Really, really excited for this. The next 6-12 months of gaming is looking amazing for me.
EDIT: And, oh, Ellie is fucking awesome. I think she reacted like you'd expect a 14 year old girl who's lived through some crazy shit up until this point, and her and her friend are being accosted by someone who is a complete stranger to her. Joel and Bill have history. Ellie and Joel's history began with a pretty piss poor first impression.

wow,this game just keeps getting better and better.oh man, 2013 can`t come any soon enough.anyway,what I really love about this cutscene is the dialogue its just feels so natural and real you know.it just feels thiers quilty behind it witch is a very good thing.also i really like the lighting too it just screams post apocalyptic and end of the world so amazing.now i have something I need ask.
ND has made it quite clear that TLOU is not only going to focus on the relstionship between Joel & Ellie.but is also going to show us how humans would react if the world and society would collapse & be destroyed.Whether they be like the guys we saw at E3 were they would do anything to survive and get supplies even if it means killing people or whether they would be like Bill here, whos still antagonistic towards you but is willing to help you out.
So my qustion is if ND wants humans to be the main focus of the game,in other words showing us how they would react in a world like this.then why are the mushroom zombies here? I mean i asked because they just dont feel like they belong in the game anymore.it just feels like thier in the game to be there its very odd.

I have to say, after they actually got Ellen Page for Beyond: Two Souls I'm kind of disappointed that they didn't for Last of Us.

Yeah, potentially a lot of wisecracks. It's a little cheesy, but whatever. Not like that's anything new for blockbuster action games/movies like this. Hopefully it's not a constant thing in the full game.

Probably the best setup for a fetch quest we've seen.
As much as I can't wait for this game, it really bums me out that they were they're trying get people excited is by showing us cutscenes. Seems weird that they're using the part that has nothing to do with video games and is another medium to get people hyped. I dunno, they're talking the talk when it comes to gameplay and if they can fulfil those intentions then the game will be something special. I just want to see more of what I'll be do doing rather than what I'll be watching.

they already show an example of a gameplay scene and some of us are still skeptical if that's real or not.
as for showing a full cutscene, I kinda like it this way than showing a trailer montage consist of cool pieces from the whole game. at least with this approach, I have no idea how the game will end, or where it'll take you etc. in a typical movie trailer, they sometimes show all the cool stuff the whole game have.

The problem I have with showing a cutscene is that it'll be the same every time and I already know the outcome. With gameplay how I play might be very different to the footage and even though I have the rough idea of what's going to happen, there's at least a chance for it to vary. And yeah, while a typical trailer has the potential to spoil large amounts of what's going to happen, the cuts are usually quick enough that unless you're disecting things, by the time the game comes out you'll probably have forgotten most of it.

can't wait to see the graphics they'll pull of on the ps4. hope they stop using cutscenes but that will never happen.
doubt it after admitting how they fucked themselves with uc3 after announcing the date so gaddamn early.
can't wait to see what the uc3 team has cooking. i know people don't like them but i look at it this way: it was that team and director's first game and they'll grow to be better at making games just like the the gap from uc2 to uc2. either way, im not a huge uncharted fan and i hope they change the gameplay up, especially the platform, naughty dog used to be so good at platforming segments in their games, idk how they went from the challenging & fun platforming in the jak series to the automatic hand holding bullshit in the uncharted series.Hope they return to form.

They released a cutscene right before E3 that setup the gameplay that debuted at the show. This could be the setup for some gamescom gameplay footage. It's a way of giving context to the scene. Some people brought up how Joel seem cold blooded in the E3 demo because he just jumped into a building and started killing people. But that cutscene released a few weeks before E3 showed exactly why he was willing to kill them.
I wouldn't want that to happen. I loved U3, but it was obvious that they had to rush the game for release. It'd be horrible if they had to rush this game. Especially since they aren't working with an existing formula like they were with U3.

Almost want to buy a PS3 just for this game, almost. Looks beautiful, but lol at the fanboys saying "It looks real!" or "better than real life!". We are at least a decade away from that, then at least another until the computing power capable of retaining real-life fidelity at all draw distances in an open world game, is available on console.
Don't really like Ellie much and the protagonist seems too similar to the one in Uncharted. No doubt the cinematics and voice acting are top notch. Bravo Naughty Dog. Bravo.

I'm just saying "what if". I mean, they've released 4 trailers now and i'm betting you we'll see another trailer before the year ends. It's just so much promotion for a game that is well into it's 3rd year in development and isn't even coming out this year...
Trust me i want this game to be perfect too but what if everything's in place and they want to surprise people with a 2012 release? Just look at what's coming this holiday season that's a Sony exclusive... PS All-Stars? That's it?

If it were Sucker Punch behind it then yes but at this point for me Sly 4 feels almost like it'll be another Rachet All4One.
