actually, why does
big boss artwork even exist in mgs ? he died in mg2:ss and you never see him in mgs anyway, not even in flashback form.
i don't know, maybe the theory of
the big boss you kill in mg2:ss being just another clone could apply, although that would be a very cheap trick on kojima's behalf. Who knows, though; after mgs3 people really liked naked snake/big boss so maybe he thought of a way to revive him and have father and son fighting side by side against ocelot and whatnot ? that would be touching and quite epic and would give Kojima the opportunity to clear things between solid and big boss, and also explore the father/son theme he likes so much. Still it would be too damn cheap.

Also, to people still complaining about liquid ocelot stuff; MGS3 was an awesome game also because it redeemed mgs2 by giving a half decent explanation of that, which also menaged to not sound like an afterthought. A lot of you guys must have missed it.

Yep.

It's going to suck having to look at the stacks of the game in the stock room for a week. People aren't allowed to touch them before release because if you do, you'll probably get fired.

It's out at the same time in lots of different countries in four continents. I'm SURE somebody will break the street date. That's why everybody should get blackout'd on june 3 or something like that :lol

Have you seen those badass screenshots THIS big before? 2048 x 1152 in its original form, with no watermarks, bigger than the 1080p used by gaming websites... You can see that Solid Snake has no iris on the fourth one! o_O

I didn't notice Vamp in "14_mgs4_screenshot_d2210_10 copy copy" until I saw the high resolution original. That and the Octopus logos on the PMC uniforms. The attention to detail is staggering, even by Kojima's standards.

One of the thing that's still up in the air is the music that you can listen to on the ipod. I know you can listen to music from the game and past games, but not too sure about listening to music that's on your PS3 Hd.

I'm glad they're waiting till at least the 1st of June, it's annoying to open an official thread for a game and have to wade through days and days of posts before you get to anyone who's actually played the game and can provide impressions.
