Yes because you can't get these two forms in game so they have to add them into a new game, which will be grey.
Pokémon Grey & Gray confirmed!
That's fucking terrible.Assuming they work as they do in Plat, the new forms would be unusable in battles against B/W players.
Those weren't main series games, those were spin offs, Nintendo potentially lost nothing from that.
But the main series has always been used to drive the sales of Nintendo handhelds, so to make the latest one non 3DS exclusive is a massive blunder.
That's fucking terrible.
New Kyurem formes look cool.
Meloetta is the real megaton, though. A sign of a quicker than expected Gen VI?
Gen V was always expected to be a short one anyway.Meloetta is the real megaton, though. A sign of a quicker than expected Gen VI?
I guess people who thought they were pushing through this gen a bit quick are kind justified more with the whole meloetta being in the short. That would make it only one more to go.

As I said, there was minimal support for it in Platinum (local wireless only). Hopefully they've learned from this and implemented it in Wi-Fi too.
just noticed meloetta. what's she doin'?
Starrin' in the Pikachu short. Could be a sign they're rushing this generation out a bit faster for full 3DS gen 6.
.
Pokemon LightGrey & DarkGrey
.... you know..... for MAXIMUM PROFIT!!!
I'm gonna laugh if the name isn't even Gray or Grey, but like Brown or something.
Remember all the fan names for the Pokemon G/S remakes and how none of them were what they actually used?

I still think Pokemon Tin & Brass would have been awesome names, but I guess they're not really marketableI'm gonna laugh if the name isn't even Gray or Grey, but like Brown or something.

It's a product of the DS lifespan being longer than anyone could ever have anticipated. It also serves as a soft-reboot for the franchise. It felt to me like this wonderful foundation from which they had immediate plans to build on in the next gen.Really? What makes you think that?
Okay, this might be a dumb question, but...
Why is the early reveal of Meloetta a sign of a short Gen V?
Fuck off Grey. I want to return to glorious Hoenn.
I look forward to the disappointment after Pokémon Smash ends, then.
If you guys really think the reveal of the poster guarantees a new game announcement today... Oh, well.

Wait, it's revealed around 10:30PM GMT? That's like, NOW.
Hidden legends usually get a whole movie to themselves, and each Pokemon movie comes out once every year. By not letting Meloetta have a movie the way Shaymin and Arceus did, it signals they won't "waste" a year on devoting a movie only to Meloetta.
