A new Pokken Tournament fighter and support Pokemon will be announced on December 10, the game’s official Twitter account has teased.

The only hint provided is that the new fighter Pokemon’s Japanese name contains the “ン” character (an “n” by itself, without a vowel).
Gematsu

hoping for Sceptile (Japanese: ジュカイン Jukain)

My bets are on ニンフィア (Sylveon).

Since that's one Pokedex entry before Hawlucha and they want to twist the knife.

Gimme HAWLUCHA or gimme uh...Borittos.
Psyduck would be an acceptable alternative, but otherwise
GIVE HAWLUCHA!

I'm still reeling from my favorite wrestlebird getting snubbed for Greninja in Smash 4; I don't know if I could handle that.

Then again, the "ribbon" based moveset Suicune has would make more sense on Sylveon than Suicune, so it'd be an easy clone... I think it's officially time to expect the worst.

It needs to be Poliwrath. It has to be Poliwrath. The Poliwag line is my favorite in all of Pokemon, and I can't remember the last time it got any limelight. The 'Wrath is a perfect fit for Pokken.

Hmmm. Can't think of a lot of Pokemon with that Japanese character right off the bat.

Wait! Nidoking has that character in his name! Aw man, if it's him...I would lose my mind!

Pangoro or Chesnaught would be cool.

I don't understand this game much at all. My initial assumption that it would be based on a (heavily) modified Tekken style system with assist mechanics is completely wrong from the tournament footage. There are no high or low attacks, it's free roaming, it's shield based like Smash, etc.

Good lord, I'm so lost. This really seems like something pretty new. Can't say I enjoyed watching it, as it lacked any real excitement, but it's interesting to see what it's about and how it's played competitively.

Pangoro. Harada once said it was one of his favorite Pokémon, and we don't have anything from that generation yet (other than Mega Evolutions).
