I still buy most of my music on CD because hardly anywhere sells digital music in lossless formats. Amazon MP3 store is fine if you have average equipment to play it back on.

the update sorta broke my HDMI splitter so i had to plug it straight to TV.

HDMI splitters are fickle, have you tried switching it off and plugging the devices in one by one again? Every once in a while a random device or TV will have an issue displaying a signal and that usually fixes it.

Also if you can, leave HDCP on, I get better results by leaving it on and letting my HDMI splitter strip the HDCP than by letting the PS4 remove it.

this happens on any new Dynamic Theme, i was thinking this was an indication of a bad GPU, but a Sony support guy confirmed that was a bug with the themes, also many other people have it, this only happens on heavy games, its very easy to replicate, just load any heavy game(for some reason Diablo 3 gets a lot of artifacts) while in the mid of the game go back to home screen, and then look up and you will see this visual bug/glitch, happens on Rectangular, Paper and spiral dynamic themes, also you need heavy games, like Lords of THe fallen, Diablo 3, Infamous SS, Killzone, no indie will cause this to happen.

what nat issues are you having? the two router's i've owned have worked fine simply by enabling upnp. no port forwarding or dmz nonsense required.

Friend recently bought a ps4. I have been able to chat previously with all my friends. For some reason when we get into a party there is an error that says I can't connect to him directly because of NAT issues. I never had any issues before with anyone else. If you read online it seems that some people have been randomly affected by this after the last ps4 patch.

I deleted all my themes and reinstalled them and have not seen it since.

as funny as it may sound, thats also where it happens on my PS4, also i just re-downloaded all themes(wireless conection), rebuilded the database, still happens and i dont think its a GPU related problem, if it was i would be seeing this while playing games too, i mean i had an 8h Infamous SS marathon and no artefacts at all, or any visual glitch, if this is a GPU problem i need to know fast, because my warranty ends in 45 days lol.

The library generally needs a total makeover, if that's the bit you mean. Icons for demos I tried that I'll never buy litter the list. The library is next to useless in its current state in fact.

In the video folder? There's a tile for each app in there.

But I agree, I wish we could manually pin a few at the front regardless of recent status, and manually hide a few from ever showing up in the "most recents." Essentially have favorites, then recents, then library with the old and unwanted crap on the end.

And I wish Sony would incentivize some of the devs to do more with the tabs for each game. More than link to a manual and a video and show trophies, or even nothing for some games.

My issue is I don't have the app for IGN or BBC sport or any of that crap on my PS4 and never intend to but Sony still insists on cluttering my UI with placeholder tiles for these apps and a bunch of others. It really winds me up.

I've never had speeds that slow EVER on PSN. Did you check out your connection? Maybe manually set DNS settings?

Hopefully this has a fix for the fluctuating download speeds. As a digital only person this has been a huge deal, and it is actually pushing me away from wanting to stay a digital only customer. 400KBps during half or more of every download is completely unacceptable.

You are digital only on PS4? Wow you must really like throwing away money. I've seen those prices on PSN...
