This new show is produced by Nick, may or may not share some staff with Fanboy and Chum Chum (aka the worst animated show on TV today), is trying to emulate the 80s toon, and looks kind of awful. No hope from me.

Most likely not. That movie didn't perform amazingly well at the box office, and the studio who made that made the mega-bomba in Astro Boy, which crippled them financially. Nick bought the TMNT property from 4Kids, and seem to want to push it into the more comedy focused pizza all the time 80s style show rather than the more serious take the comics, and 2K3 series took.

This, right? I'm guessing that's just a place-holder model they quickly threw together. It has weird aliasing that the other models don't. At least I hope that's the case.
