New trailer and Info on GT Sports coming in May 19

GT isnt what it once was. I hope that GT Sport can revitalize the game design which looks archaic by todays standards. Its like Kaz only cares about doing car porn, not an interesting racing game. The formula has aged extremely in GT, get the licences, do the same races over and over, grind and farm credits until your next car, use walls for fast turns and deal with a completely idiotic racing AI... Etc etc.

All these things were amazing 10-15 years ago. Now they are simply annoying. It will take more than next gen graphics and physics to get back in shape for GT imo. Hopefully Kaz has finally realised that.

The environments are much improved, lots of detail too. Liking how they've done the leaves and bushes so far. Games either make them too detailed and busy looking to render or are simple unnatural looking.

They consistently do this with new listings. They'll list at at the US price before adjusting it to the Canadian price later. Odds are it's a price error, jump on it if you want to go digital.

Personally I'm hoping for another Amazon E3 30% off deal and that's when I'll pre-order it. I want a physical copy.

Not impressed with the visuals, looks like the updated tracks (Nurburgring, etc) received a GT6 Suzuka style upgrade but were held back for GT6 PS4

That rally track looks absolutely horrible, and from what I've read about the sound impressions, this will probably be the first game in the franchise I will NOT buy. I regret wasting money on both GT5 and 6 anyway.

looks great but I hated this on gt5 and gt6. Granted it is less than in those titles but still

Sony needs to do something.

They built a new photo mode and.... That's it!!!

Gameplay looks a lot like GT6, shadows still look bad from GTPlanet video, created millions of photo locations and lost a lot of tracks and cars.

Guys.... Gran Turismo sport is the new Pokemon Snap

They're not trying to sell this as a $60 game, though, right? That has to be a placeholder price or something. A fraction of the cars and tracks of a normal GT game, same old shitty sounds, but full price?

I agree. I wish more companies would just show what the game actually looks like and they seem to have done that here.

Game is still six months away, it will be at least a bit more polished.

Damn people, I wasn't the one that brought up Driveclub. Anyway, I'll leave that be.

Anyway, I don't think real gameplay of this game looks good at all. I'm surprised PD actually used real footage in one of their trailers. I really can't remember the last time they did. GT4 maybe.

Photomode looks great LOL.

Unfortunately being honest all the rest seems closer to a well done GT6 remaster than to a game conceived from the ground up for a next gen console.

But what is GTS all about? will it mimic point scoring systems from real world FIA sanctioned race series (like for GT3 class cars?) What have they done to ensure proper racing in regards to AI?

ven more disheartening, it's hard to hear the difference. I tried some of the noisier cars available in the current build, and the GT3 458 Ferrari droned rather than screamed, the Corvette whined rather than rumbling the earth as it does in real life.

From what I can tell by watching the trailer, it looks EXACTLY like GT6. Performs just as bad too it seems, with all that aliasing going on. GT is so fucking dead to me.

Congrats to all the photo nerds out there though, because photo mode is the only thing that looks good in this game. Laughable to say the least.

To Sony I say sell PD and buy Codemasters.

i thought that trailer was terrible. PD usually kills it with trailers/intros with great music that matches. not so much this time around. and the visuals...ehhh...yeah i know its youtube, but i was really unimpressed =/

So it sounds like GT6, has way less cars than GT6, less tracks than GT6, but has a new photomode and better graphics? Cool I guess.
