I think they learned their lesson after the previous games, though maybe liscence issues would apply. That would suck.
This just makes me want Sleeping Dogs 2 even more.

Yes, I don't remember as far back as the PS2 games but Yakuza 3 onward, action mini games are 60fps.
Is it common to be able to talk to famous JAV idols like this in Japan?

Doubt it. The models used in Yakuza cutscenes have always looked amazing.
For instance, this was on the PS3 in 2012:

Yeah, probably was just a drivebuy shitpost, but really these are not bullshots. that's what the game will look like.
Start with 0 which is a prequel, comes out in January on Ps4. The first game got a Remaster in Japan, might be announced for the West too.

The lesson they learned is that people don't care. People complained about hostess stuff missing in Yakuza 3, but Yakuza 4 sold worst when they kept everything.
