Next gen SSX 360/PS3 , anyone heard anything?

Blur was a huge step in the right direction after the horrifying abomination that was On Tour. It isn't up to the first three games, and while it lacks voices the soundtrack is arguably the best the series has seen which eases the pain somewhat. The biggest downside to the game for me is that it has some tracks from On Tour.
If you're dying for SSX, it's well worth it.
As for SSX4, the general mood at the merqurycity forums is not very positive at all.

I'd bite for a new SSX, if it acted as a spiritual successor to 3. I just remember being mindblown doing my first run down the whole mountain, I can only imagine how current gen would let them expand that even further. I really hope the general negativity around the possibility turns out to be nothing.

Weird. I was just thinking of making a thread about how EA should make SSX 4. I thought SSX Blur was good, but it really did need new tracks. I really liked the graphical style though. It also lacked voice acting and personality from the characters, which is one of the things that SSX is known for.
She had some really funny and cool quotes during the gameplay witch always made me smile Found this:

Isn't SSX3 and On Tour both open world? If you are at the top hill, you aren't limited on where you can go with a menu.lupinko said:

I played it recently, and it's as awesome as ever. A little easy, but still awesome! Certainly looks better than many Wii games.
SSX Blur 2 for Wii, SSX4 for PS360 should happen.

I love SSX3. I still play it every once in awhile on the PS3. It looks pretty decent upscaled but more than anything it makes me realize how badly a new game is long overdue. I really enjoy how you can do a free ride down the entire mountain in one go.
