Well you have to remember it's a work in a progress. Pretty sure they just rushed something out for the presentation.

On top of that, I wanted to add to this thread that even the best looking game on PS4 like TLOU2 still has alot of room for improvement. In-game face model is quite meh especially on Dina, lighting can be flat sometimes, the amount of noises and 30fps

Work in progress depends. It depends on the release date, if it's a launch game I don't think the game will change this much, and I think this will be a cross platform game

There's only one next-gen game I see on the horizon, and that's because if all next-gen graphics has to offer is something on par with PCs from 4 years ago (when we got Pascal; and if we consider multiGPU in the golden age of MSAA, then that can go further back), then that's a big disappointment. Next-gen has to be about the world, the interactivity & life of it, not just using the world as a prettier prop. For now no console game has shown any glimpse of understanding this truth, but who knows, maybe in the future...

when the dreamcast came, pcs had the same features. IT didn't change the fact that shenmue and dead or alive looked far beyond unreal tournament and quake 3.

Same will happen this time too, there will be next gen console games that look better than anything seen on pc this year.
