A Perfect Dark reboot would seem probable, considering how badly they botched Zero and it's just been latent ever since. Also, could this be that "super secret project that everyone will go bananas over" that Eurogamer teased? That seems probable too now that I think about it
ac3 is not a reboot.
Anyone? A PD reboot is one of my most wanted games this gen. Would love to see a new PD running on Rare tech.

If it is a new Perfect Dark, when is it coming out? Halo 4 is releasing this fall, it seems weird MS would wait until the biggest game they've had since Halo 3 is coming out to try to revive Perfect Dark. It also seems weird for them to release it in 2013 since you know the next Xbox is coming out and it would make more sense to launch the game on the new Xbox. Although, then again, MS did release PGR4 right after Halo 3 with no marketing so who knows.

as unlikely as a new panzer dragoon (okay, its called crimson dragon but the team is the same) for kinect? nah, its not unlikely. pdz sold pretty well during the launch period and ms needs to bring some ip's back (the halo, gears, forza, fable combo just doesnt cut it anymore and they need more ip's for the nextgen launch).

An Xbox 720 launch title wouldn't be revealed in this month's OXM unless the new Xbox was shown before. I don't think that's happening.
To minimise genre overlap, I honestly thought Microsoft would rather opt for Crackdown, Banjo Kazooie or Viva Pináta, the latter two have lots of potential with the newly found Kinect audiences.
Idk, maybe they'll do something very different with PD and send it down more of a Deus Ex esque direction.

That's how I feel about it too. They wouldn't showcase a game for a console that isn't coming out, much less even been ANNOUNCED, yet.
i think crackdown 2 killed the chance for c3 (thanks again ms for forcing the developers to shit out a "sequel" in 10 months..) and maybe pd2 wont be a "standard" shooter. maybe its kinect only or third person?

They can reveal a game and just pretend like it's on the 360. Would be a good way to generate some hype for the eventual console reveal. "Oh hey, that bad ass game we showed off earlier. That's a launch title"

I think a cover reveal game is gonna have a little more info then "Yeah, its this game, and its kinda cool. Coming out like, whenever, or one of those consoles."
I don't think this would be received very well.
Kinect only Perfect Dark/Killer Instinct would probably be the most tragic move made my Microsoft in their history of this industry.

I loved Perfect Dark Zero. Part of what I love about it is how broken in a few ways.
A "reboot" might take away a lot of the stuff I liked about PDZ if it's true!
Will be interesting to see what they do with it if it is PD.

that other magazine is teasing the return of MS's four biggest exclusives, so it appears likely this is one of them.
What are the chances these exclusives are actually returning in next gen form and xbox3 is being announced at GDC ? none ?
Still think it's Perfect Dark.
