the main issue with the eagles is their linebackers are horrible. if there is a set of worse LB's in the league i'd like to know who it is. maybe the eagles should have addressed their LB group instead of signing nnamdi and steve smith. and maybe they should've hired a real DC instead of an ex-offensive line coach. guess the eagles thought they could get away with cutting corners in these areas but the ghost of a thousand murdered dogs is coming back to bite the eagles

The Eagles have the worst D in the league by a huge margin. The second their DL gets tired it is over, they cant stop anyone without getting crazy pressure. Nnamdi had a great 1st half, when he covered VD almost every play, but in the 2nd half when they had him lining up deep middle he looked awful. He broke late on a bunch of passes, and bite hard on small hand's pump fake. Overall he had a bad game, but if the coaches didnt try to get so fucking cute again this week he would have been fine.
 
I can't wait to see all the sports writers act like Orton sympathizers another week talking about how he's not the one to blame for the Broncos issues. Is he the only one to blame? Absolutely not. But he is not doing anything on the field to help matters much. And we already know what we get with him. I just honestly can't believe that either Quinn or Tebow couldn't be doing the same thing right now and at least getting the same results -- so wouldn't that essentially just be a wash.

I was so hopeful going into this season. John Fox talked a good talk, but he's showing the same vulnerabilities as he has been criticized for throughout his entire coaching career.

Me too my friend. We will soon learn if Fox is still a stodgy old bastard or will learn to be flexible and make some changes. The thing is with all the shit Tebow gets defenses have to account for his ability to move. With Orton they know he will just sit in the pocket and shit it up.
 
In all honesty, this season is starting to look like last for the Broncos. Except the bottom is falling out quicker.

Orton needs to take the fall.
