If Favre plays tonight I swear to God I'm going to punch a fucking wall. We should be using every snap to evaluate young talent. I'd rather see what Ramsey has (lol).

I'm with you. But I think Webb is too big of a project. He needs a few more years in the oven before we throw him to the wolves.

Sometimes I feel people don't watch the same game that I did..
I'm not saying Flynn played bad.

I'm saying on the plays that he made mistakes, I think a different playcall would have benefited him by playing to his strengths/the Pats weaknesses. It was a well-called game by our coaches.

Local radio says it's basically a certainty.

ESPN said he was going to throww a few passes to see how hiss shoulder felt, but the swelling has gone down, so I cant see anything stopping him. This is Farve's last chance to show what a great guy he is, and that he isnt all about thee streak. Gruden will call him a great teammate at least 30 times tonight.

Didn't they draft Webb as a wide out anyway?

Yeah, he's not the answer. This draft is pretty deep at QB, so I'd be upset if we don't take one. Even if it's a guy like Cam.

He'll never show it on the field. The most demonstrative I've seen him was in New Orleans last year when he was ripping Bradshaw a new one for totally missing a blitz pickup.

Eli threw a cup down pretty forcefully on the sideline near the end of the game on Sunday. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

Good to see Matt Flynn have a good night last night

and as much as I couldn't stand him at Clemson, Jacoby Ford is an absolute speedster. Dang that guy can fly.

Well, I pressed my Wranglers in honor of the occasion. I will root for the Vikings because they are the underdogs. And I will let a tear fall when Farve finished the game, trudges off in the falling snow, and the Vikings celebrate one last glory for this year.

I think you're looking for the Unitas Award winner. You guys have had great luck with Badgers!

This is like bizarro world seeing Packer fans root for the Vikes. I'm going to pretend you guys are my friends.

Save a Trailer Park rant in a text file just in case things get weird tonight. You can never know.

Holy fuck at the weather in Minny tonight. CSN just showed them clearing the stadium and it looks crazy. I have a feeling it is going to be a 6-3 type game tonight.

Vikings win! Forte sucks and if Cutler throws it his passes will be even more off target than usual.

Cutler tried to practice with a glove today, but he said it didnt feel right so he is going to play bare-handed tonight. 3 picks and 2 fumbles incoming. :D

After the beatdown we gave you guys at the Metrodome, I honestly just feel bad for the Vikings and for Favre at this point.

Our biggest rival has always been the Bears anyway! Bunch of flat-landers!

I've hated Illinois ever since I got a ticket for going 80 basically driving through that huge cornfield of a state. God knows I should've slowed down to enjoy the scenery more.

Cornheads would be less embarrassing than Cheeseheads.

Especially if they were Corn-on-the-Cobheads.

Please let Favre start. He is always good for at least 3 to 4 interceptions against the Bears defense.

You've got to be kidding.

Cutler doesn't throw them much anymore.

It's boring.

His fumbles make up for that though.

Well, the O-Line is partially to blame for that.

You cant believe that Farve starting is bettter for the Bears then Webb starting.

One is healthy and probably smarter with the football.

Plus, Bears' fans are clamoring for Favre to get knocked around, this is nothing new.

Farve's stats against the Bears as of 2009:

22-10 record against the Bears, including a 12-3 mark at Soldier Field.

His 25 career touchdown passes at Soldier Field are the most he had at any opposing stadium.

Favre completed 664 of 1,076 passes for 7,660 yards, 53 touchdowns and 38 interceptions against the Bears.

His longest pass play is against the Bears was a 99-yard connection to Robert Brooks for a touchdown on Sept. 11, 1995.

His all-time record for completions (36) and yards (402) was at Soldier Field on Dec. 5, 1993.

He also tied a career-high with five touchdown passes against the Bears on Nov. 12, 1995.

I think Favre is shitty against Lovie Smith's team though.

Or maybe that was the Vikings.

Or the Packers.

I forget but Favre is not going to scare anyone this year.

Cool triva, bro.

Really appreciate it!

"Favre may be 23-12 against the Bears in his career but he's only 3-8 against Lovie Smith. It's not hard to envision Favre retiring 3-9 against Smith if he starts as coach Leslie Frazier has suggested — especially if the league keeps the game under the stars on a late December night in Minneapolis."

Favre owned the Bears in the 90s early 00s in his glory days. Bears have owned him the last couple years. Not scared to face him.

I dont think anyone should be scared of him, he has been a shell of himself this year. My only point was that Farve is still more likely to pull out a win then Webb. Next week the Eagles face the Vikes, I hope it is Webb and not Farve starting that game.
