This win streak at home has been something else. Amazingly fun to watch, but there's no way it should be thought of as the NHL record since shootouts didn't exist back in the 70s.

No, it should count and rightfully so, each era had different circumstances that effected the record, this should be no different.
 
The Wings game was awesome until the late 2nd and 3rd period where we gave up like usual, but whatever. As along as we're winning I'm a very happy man.

21!! What a great run it has been. Watching the history unfold live was wonderful. Hopefully we can squeeze out a few more at home before it stops.

Also, WOW @ the Hawks. They've got a lot of work to do. Sure is nice knowing that they're no longer a huge threat for the central title. Now we just have the damn Blues to worry about.

Please don't. It's not even that bad. And even if it was 100 times worse, we don't want your pity. This is Toronto's first four game losing streak of the season. I'm disappointed and disgusted, but it's not the end of the world.

Just fucking fire Wilson already. It's not like the Leafs are losing to Detroit, or Boston, or the Rangers... it's Montreal, and Winnipeg, and Calgary. It's a fucking embarrassment they can't beat teams like these at this stage in the game, when they're hanging onto to 8th by a thread.

I've said this before but Wilson is never going to be fired for as long as Burke is the GM of this team. Burke is a decent GM but his obsession with Wilson is ridiculous. God god we could've been done with Wilson at the end of this season but he was extended. For what? 7th, 2nd, and 9th last place finishes? 30th or 29th ranked PKs and PPs every year except for this year (PP has finally improved, the PK still sucks).

Wilson is here for the long haul.
 
I ain't even mad, didn't even watch any of the game and had an incredible night, I don't give a fuck!

This will probably change when I wake up tomorrow from this high and read the papers
 
Perfect night standings wise in my eyes. I want the Canucks to get the Flames in the first round. Managable travel and a team I feel the Canucks could beat in 4 or 5 games.

Thanks to the Flames/Leafs game for taking the glare off a hideous home L for the Jets against the Isles.

God, this team needs like 50 SOG to get 1.5 goals in a game. :|


EDIT: and if I see Kane try to take another defenceman wide only to get, of course, gently forced into the corner because THIS ISN'T THE FUCKING DUB I'm going to lose my mind. And since Kane tries to beat the D wide every single shift - with a roughly 3% success rate - it's going to suck being driven insane.

The Canucks had a lengthy losing streak in January a couple years ago (something like 7-9 games) and Gillis surprisingly stuck with Vigneault.

I doubt Q will go right away. One of the assistants (please be Kitchen please be Kitchen) will get the axe first to send a message. If Q does get fired, it probably won't be until after the season is over.

I wouldn't mind seeing John Torchetti brought back into the organization as HC. He was an asst. with the 'Hawks a few years ago and is coaching the Houston Aeros in the AHL right now.
