Do you know what, not having Datsyuk makes me realize how badly we need another impact top 6 guy. It seems no one seems to step up when he is out, the offense just seems non-existent.
caps and panthers should really want to win because of playoff/division title race

Well we have some good young guns coming up in Tatar and Nyquist along with a few others. Now idk about Lindstrom, he must be a guy who plays for us who I never saw, however with Lidstrom gone, yeah we are gonna hurt.

Man is this game boring right now in the third, Detroit brings it in, Chicago knocks it out, rinse and repeat, congrats on the win Hawks, not like Detroit even decided to play hockey today to give you a challenge, man do we suck on the road and without Datsyuk, it is gonna be a massacre on thursday, ugh... :/

Good win for Chicago. Both goalies played really well and that was the best game I've seen from Kane in months. Hopefully he keeps playing like that from here on out.

Was at the Sabres game tonight - really good seats that I got for free from a relatives elderly friend. Felt sort of bad (handicap 100 level section) - but moved over to accommodate a fella in a wheelchair. The game was exciting defensively, offensively it felt a little dull. The view was really great - don't know if I can go back to the cheap 300 seats

The more I pay attention to this tradecenter garbage, the more I feel that Dreger is just Eklund with a TV gig. The way he's constantly speculating and shifting his views is so Eklund-esque that I'm starting to wonder whether he even has any legitimate front office sources.

I didn't watch that much of it, but two things stuck out:
-Canucks gave up a shorthanded goal
-Weber had a breakaway
That pretty much sums up the effort tonight.
