That's the worst no-goal call ever.

It's fucking outrageous that you can't review these. That's not even close to being a no-goal.

JOEY VICTORY!!!!!!!!!

...and still a chance at an empty netter with the Jackets getting it within 2 again.

hahahahaha that was amazing. One of the Dallas players and the linesman got tangled up and apparently it was funny because Vigneault started laughing and just could NOT contain it. They cut back to him after an icing like 20 seconds later and he was wiping tears away.

phoenix is 10-0-1 in their last 11? i seriously had no idea they were on such a streak

I just saw that last night and couldn't believe it. I have not been paying attention to them at all this season.

Malkin misses the empty net haha, oh well. I know it's the Jackets but nice to get wins on the back to back regardless. And yeah Staal looks great out there.

Oh Malkin.

Good game by Thiessen I guess, I couldn't really tell. He made a couple of decent saves and was solid but was never really tested. Can't blame him on the Nash breakaway goal, probably should have stopped the Prospal goal but it wasn't too egregious.

Solid effort by everyone. Three wins in a row? Hell yeah. Let's make it four on Wednesday in Dallas, a game I'll be at btw. Can't wait. :)

I like that the Pens won two "gimme" games this weekend, like they should have. Pretty dominant performances in both of them.

Eh, he still faced 24 shots by the end of it. I won't blame him for the Nash one so he only gave up one goal but it was the blue jackets... Just have to see how he plays the next time.

Yeah, they're playing well. We gotta win these "gimme" games and stock up points before we get to the second half of March, when we face Boston, NYR, Philly, and NJ 9 times.

lol, remember when pens and caps fan used to argue over crosby vs. ovechkin empty net points?

Yeah, those were good times. And arguing over even strength and PP goals with Crosby and Stamkos.

Malkin's been good at even strength, and on the PP. He's been an absolute beast this season.

Heh, we've been beating them lately but it's still a rough stretch. The playoffs basically start a few weeks early for us.

That can only be a good thing. It feels like the Pens are getting hot at the right time, while their competitors are starting to stumble a bit. If they can stay healthy, I really like Pittsburgh's chances of coming out of the East.

It would be nice to pull him out of the deck just before the playoffs, provided that he's healthy and good to go.

Ya. He's been skating more so we'll see if anything improves. :/

If the Rangers get Nash I predict a Detroit/New York finals.

Nah, Lundqvist is too big of a scrub in the playoffs. I don't think he can elevate his play enough. He's been holding them back his whole career, I see nothing to change that now.

I honestly don't see Detroit getting to the finals at all this year. And that's not because I hate them, either.

It'll be Detroit or Vancouver. I don't think anyone else is close. I know Nashville and St. Louis are close in points, but I don't think either have what it takes to win 3 rounds in the playoffs.

I hate to say it, but it'll probably be Vancouver.

Nashville could do it, depending what they get at the deadline. Just depends. I honestly think they're still a few years off.

St. Louis... eh. They're tough to play against, but I don't see them having the depth.

San Jose would be realistic I believe. Only issue they have is solid goaltending.

You know what I just realised guys? Byfuglien has 11 points in his last 6 games, he's riding a 4game-multiple-point-games-streak and a 6-game point streak. 2-2-2-2-1-2 points in his last 6, and 13 points in 8. If he hadn't been injured, he'd likely be the only competition for Karlsson in Defenseman-scoring. Impressive streak oO
