I believe that Unchained Blades is hitting the 3DS eShop this week as well. Anyone here looking forward to it besides myself?

I think it looks pretty awesome but I'm still hesitant to spend more than ~$10 on a game digitally when I can't guarantee I'd still have access to it if something were to happen to my 3DS.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but is there any word on Picross e coming to NA eshop ever? I'm not even joking in saying that the game getting announced for Japan was the major tipping factor in me upgrading from a DSiXL to a 3DS after the price drop.

As long as you link the game to your club nintendo account you should be fine.

Is this actually true? I've seen people say this before but never with any evidence, and I've never heard Nintendo say anything about the issue either. I was always under the impression having stuff tied to a CN account did nothing except register those games on your account and not give you access to download them again on a different system should something happen.

(I do have my system tied to my Club Nintendo account btw)

So did Nintendo forget about the 3DS version of Flipnote Studio? I remember Nintendo saying that it was coming a few months before the 3DS launched and yet we know nothing today.

I just figured they were hinting at Swapnote, even though they're not all that similar.

I'll need to check the Wii and Wii U shops tonight, but if SimCity is gone, I'm half wondering about the TG16 SimPlanet...

I've also been waiting. It's been a bit distressing when Picross e 2 has been reported for release in other territories and we haven't heard word of getting the first. Hopefully NOA isn't intending to save this for a rainy day at the end of the life cycle.

they are waiting until 4 other amazing games come out at the same time, so not as many people buy it.

Fits the NOA playbook.

I'll be picking up Unchained Blades this weekend.

Also, I finished the vc MegaMan 1. Thanks, savestates!
I remembered all the enemy patterns really well from years ago.

Unchained Blades & Gunman Clive for me this week

Unchained Blades, Code of Princess AND Gunman Clive? Amazing week for NA. I have Gunman Clive, will buy Code of Princess upon UK release and can only dream of Unchained Blades coming over.

Nothing on the UK eShop for me this week but having SO much fun on the GB TwinBee Da!! game. Just bought the ARPG For the Frog the Bell Tolls. Gonna give it a blast now. Looks so Links Awakening.

Edit: 2 mins in. The Links Awakening game *must* have used this engine.

Edit 2: The wave effects are awesome! Sound is so Links Awakening. Just been beat up, now on a boat:)

Nice job beril on getting a writeup and not being relegated into the "Also new this week" section. Between that and the pricepoint, think/hope you should do well.

Incidentally, what are the NA prices for Unchained Blades and Code of Princess? Just so I can estimate a UK price point if the former and when the latter come over. Thanks!

huh oh wow!

to celebrate my new 2TB HDD that i got today for the WiiU i bought MSF (last thing i care for on the shop atm)

it downloaded the 526 MB in like 3-4 min.! What happen?! Did they finally find the "On"-Switch for the rest of the servers?!

Edit:

i also like how the system automaticlly saves to the HDD when it is connected. Nice!

I'd actually rather be able to pick. I'm leaving my HDD off when I'm not using the downloads, reserving internal Flash for disc updates (hello Nintendo Land!) and saves.

Is the store updated yet? I'm curious to know if Gunman Clive made the first page on the US eShop, since it got a proper description in the press release

Update is live. No Gunman Clive on the front page, had to search for it. :(

EDIT: Actually I wouldn't have had to search for it, it is under new releases, I just didn't look.

Does the NA release of gunman Clive have the bug fixes/patches?

No not yet; I've just submitted the update for the European version to lotcheck and will build an American version and submit it shortly. I don't know how long it will take before the updates are released though. But basically you should be fine if you turn off 3D during the second boss fight

Yes Boss!

Oh well. I didn't really expect it to, it wasn't on the first page in Europe either.

It was actually pretty hard to find...I wound up having to search for it.

Anyways, cool game and plays exactly like the videos I've been watching the last few weeks. Nice price!

Eh, doesn't the US shop have the Recent Arrivals list? Or the 3DS Download Exclusive list, sorted by release date by default?

Yeah, it took me 2 seconds to find. Scroll left, click on new arrivals, software, there it is. Or just click on the new releases section on the front page.

Unchained Blades is pretty fugly and that writing...my gosh. Makes Disgaea look Oscar-worthy. The game itself seems all right so far after an hour, I like the dungeon crawling, but not too sure about those rhythm battles.

Just downloaded Gunman Clive. It'll be my first 2013 game!

Mine too. If it weren't because I didn't have enough money, it would have been UCB. Still, I'm loving GC, so no big loss.

Also, pleasantly surprised about the price of CoP, since it is the same as the US Store (MX Store here, where they keep the prices of physical stores, normally $20 USD more) This might mean that I'll go digital with Soul Hackers. Thanks, Atlus!

I was hoping CoP would be $20. That's the type of game that would've been so easy to bite on DS for $20, but at twice the price on 3DS, it's giving me second thoughts.

How much is Gangnam Clive?
