Nintendo E3 Schedule Updates

My body not ready for Wii Fit U.

Other than that, I look forward to the SSB U trailer, and whatever Mario Franchises they roll out. I hope Camelot is working on a Mario Sports game for Wii U!

Has anyone got one of those handy countdown links/gifs for the Direct? It hurts my head translating US times to GMT...

Yeah, Camelot had a decent output on N64/Gamecube so their is a nice comeback after some years, I hope they'll work on Wii U too.

There's one more chance for them to create a Mario Golf game utilizing the Wii Remote. I think that has been one of the biggest missed opportunities of this generation.

nintondo pls

Since they are having a Day 1 Wrap video it sounds like there will be even more video content for day 2 and 3. I'm still looking for the 3ds software showcase, when is that video airing?!

Don't know but the last 3DS Showcase at E3 2012 was an absolute joke. No new games whatosever.

Anyway, I'll nearly have Animal Crossing by then. The 3DS has fulfilled its glorious purpose.

The Direct is at 7 in the morning? I wonder why it has to be that early, since they couldn't want it to be that early in the morning. People will be up late chewing news from the day before!

Well, they are usually early, but I'm guessing they want it over with before the games are playable on the convention floor. It is a trade show and they are doing the direct the same day that the show opens.

They need to announce their new games before the E3 conference officially opens it's doors. Then the press can get some hands on time on the show floor.

I still don't understand why Best Buy exclusively? Why not throw the demos on the eShop as well for fans with a Wii U to try out...

I noticed they only talked about June 11th. That leaves a couple more days of content. My guess is that 3DS will take focus on the 12th and the 13th will be a wrap-up combination of the two.

They'll disclose those days most likely via the final segment or at the end of the Wii U ND

E3 Demos are not as clean as normal demos. The games will be a bit uneven, and they probably want to keep things as close to them as possible.

That and Fans without a Wii U >>>>>> Fans with a Wii U

If a Best Buy unit craps out, that doesn't matter. If a user's Wii U craps out, people will bitch.

Precisely. Bear in mind that E3 demos are usually rushed to meet a very tight deadline, and are therefore very unstable, unfinished code that could potentially cause severe problems to a console should something go tits up. Or they could be found to open up security holes in the system.

Given the limited dates and times of the Best Buy demos it's likely there'll be a Nintendo Rep on hand to talk people through the demos too, to make sure people 'get' it.

Demos on the eshop would be lovely, but unlikely. At the least, we might get some downloadable trailers.

I can't hold all this hype GIMME MAJORA'S MASK FOR THE 3DS NINTY!!!

I'm really looking forward to watching the Nintendo Direct stuff. It'll be interesting to see if they can pull the Wii U out of its tailspin.

Why would you remake DK 64. If you want to make a sequel building off the original concept I could understand, but why remake a game that was so mediocre. The best part of it was the idea of it and the graphics, I never hear anyone saying how great the gameplay or level design of DK64 was.

Anyway back on topic, is someone gonna post a spoiler free link for the Nintendo Direct. Even just a single post in some thread like this could be bookmarked as long as the person edited and updated on time.

Here's some more Nintendo times for some non-streamed events. All times Eastern on June 11th.

1:30pm - Wii U Software Showcase presentation by Reggie Fils-Aime and Shigeru Miyamoto
2:00pm - Wii U Software Showcase gameplay and Q&A session
3:00pm - E3 doors officially open
9:00pm - Pokemon X/Y Developer Roundtable.

Also, I was planning on going to the Best Buy event down here in Houston to catch some off screen 60fps footage of whatever they have, but I may not be able to make it. Hopefully I can pull something through on saturday :^(

I'm concerned about the amount of time they'll have left for surprises, considering how much time they like to spunk on fluff historically.

Yeah, but hopefully they just drop trailers and whatnot afterward as well. At least Pokemon is getting it's own hour, so we wont have it soaking up everything. Pokemon buries like Triple H.
