Nintendo @ Gamescom - Streaming Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade 2, more

The 18 uncollected Moon icons in the top left of the HUD is interesting, I don't remember seeing that before.

18 moons total in the Luncheon Kingdom? There were about 6 per level in Mario 64/Sunshine, so 3x more makes sense given they're easier to collect.

Wait ...they showed new gameplay ? Shit, thought this would just be the e3 demo again.

Got stuck on the last page but we got the name of a new kingdom think it was called Seaside Kingdom, the e in seaside also kinda looked like a p. I saw this when they collected the moon there was a quick flash of the map which has been updated since the E3 build

Ah i see misheard it then:P

That's cool i guess the Mushroom Kingdom might make a appearance afterall in the game too wich is neat.

My hope is when we go there we can jump into one painting like the Bombom Battlefield and get to play the first level or something as an extra.

Looks like it. Definitely that water world with the pink moons.

Edited with better image

I'm very interested in seeing more of Xenoblade, but trying to stay as far away from mario footage as possible. I'm somewhat regretting watching what e3 coverage I did for that.

Yeah it's a bit hard to tell because the text is kind of distorted until the animation is over and Mario is already covering the first part at that point.

The more i look at it the more confident i become that it is Spaside, hopefully we get a better glimpse with the upcoming gameplay session. Maybe that is where Bowser takes Peach to get ready just before the wedding ??? Also i just had a sudden realization maybe they actually do get married and Bowser plans to take Peach on a honeymoon to the actual Moon.

Or maybe the HoneyMoon is the post-game world that all Mario games have had lately.

That makes a ton more sense, Mario and Peach actually getting married would be cute. With all the latest information i am going to say there will be about 10 Kingdoms including the post game one, seems like a hefty amount. Gamexplain is really slacking lol.

I think I heard that Andre scrapped the Odyssey analysis. I'm not sure of the exact reason.

Oh, that's a shame. There was probably nothing left they could discover that we don't already know anyway. Andre did the same with the Zelda trailer from January he probably doesn't want to spoil himself with this one as well.

It appears the HUD had a few changes or simply they are no longer hiding stuff, or there're HUD options.

Always wanted to play as a Lava Bubble, heh.

I wonder if there could be two hidden moons in the level to complete the second line in the HUD.

This game is going to be amazing, getting rewarded for exploring and experimenting reminds me of Wind Waker and recently Breath of the Wild.

I wonder if the moon counter in the upper left corner is the counter to how many moons you need to power the Odyssey. Because if it's showing all the moons in the kingdom they've collected almost half the moons in this stream alone. All of this seems rather easy too.

I wonder if there are more moons in a different section of this kingdom. They just got a third of the moons on the HUD in just a couple of minutes.

Oh, this makes more sense than what I said.
