Only way i can see it happen is that they were either given the finished and the unfinished video and uploaded the wrong one, or they were simply given the wrong file in the first place and didn't think to check.

Seeing the time set to UTC and the language set to American English is really triggering me.
I also want to know why time test is so important that it has own option in the dev kit. Could this be games getting RTC events and this just allowing you to set the RTC games look at as a set time for testing RTC events without having to fiddle with the system clock all the time?

Okay okay so a dev kit.... But if these are already real and the games pretty much playable.... Why are we seeing the unit not playing any of the titles and instead people stroking it to a system that's not playing anything?

Because a game played on a screen does not film all that well compared to the game being edited in afterwards.
Any ad you see where there is a screen showing anything other than black- whatever is on that screen has been edited in in post-processing.

They probably edit it in so it pops more. Marketing is all smoke and mirrors. It doesn't really speak to how well the Switch plays the games.
Most food you see in commercials is plastic, for example.

Like the person above said...99.99999% of screens in every single advertisement since like the late 90s has used simulated video and the people weren't actually playing, heh.

Oh you mean the devkit screen? If the question is what were they thinking, the answer is they clearly weren't thinking. You can see in the other thread what the ad is supposed to look like after editing. Someone clearly just uploaded the wrong file here.

It has a brightness sensor, that was listed in the official hardware breakdown.
