Damn, had several streams up to watch, they're being banned en masse at the moment.
Edit: Wow, never seen so many streams get banned at once. One dude who was streaming said to chat "I'm gonna keep going until I get banned" and not even 3 seconds later, boom.

...Like when they said 19 quinitillion, I figured that you could reach every one of those. That is, that if you spent the time, you could find like worlds.
But if the only seed that is 'saved' is the Euclid Galaxy(And thus the one everyone starts off on), and every time you go to the centre the seed gets randomized....
...have we seen 2 streamers go to the centre and have the same options for next galaxy? I heard something about inputting your own 'seed' before you got warped to it...

No. The universe seed is what it is (IIRC, it's the phone number of one of the employees).

I guess this would be stuff that was discovered during the development period. Anything in the past few days hasn't been uploaded anyway and probably won't go online until after the discovery storage is wiped.

Otherwise this will deleted of my games quicker than any other.
I'm not going to be investing my time in exploration and utilizing their biggest drawcard for their game, only to, be doing it all over again and again and again.

Why would it happen more than once? PS4 and PC aren't cross play.
Doubt it. Probably just all player-written records will be wiped.
They're using one seed especially for the final launch I think.
I don't understand ? Why would this be a common thing? They're doing it once before the game officially launches and that's it, I don't get the concerns tbh. It literally doesn't affect you.

I'm not sure what you're talking about.
I'm not referring to Cross Play.
I'm referring to Discoveries made, and will be wiped at Launch.
And whether, this is going to be a common thing, generally.
Does this imply that the update they've been working on WILL be ready for launch?

Because being cross play would be the only thing that makes sense for them to wipe it more than the one time. You said you don't want to have to do it over again and again and again. They're doing it once before the game even launches, so unless you have an advance copy it won't even affect you.
I'm not saying that they are, just concerned IF they did...
And since, people have got they game early and have already invested their time, and now they go to do it again. That would piss me right off, if i was them.
And the concern would be, because if they wanted to do it again.
Sorta like a Maintenance,lol.

They're playing the game early, those are known risks for playing any game early, especially if it has any sort of online component, which this does. I really don't see the issue, and I don't really care about the feelings of the people playing early right now.

I want to say it's within 24 hours of launch. But I am not a mod. :x
The balancing changes alone could huge. The economy, the amount of life and available resources, gear progression, fuel/life support consumption etc...adjusting and fine tuning the myriad of systems in NMS will largely determine players' experiences.
Hmm, sounds like a meaningful day 1 update. Good, hopefully the patch doesn't get delayed.
