I caved. I learned how to be super careful and avoid spoilers in here so far. Most of the things people are discussing are things I was sure about the game anyway. I havent ruined any surprises yet.

The time of day changes make such a difference in the appearance of the planet it seems. It looked so bleak at night and now it looks so bright and vibrant outside

Single passenger ships. You'll see them landing on planet trading posts and such.

Never dying in 40 hours of play. Reaching the center in less than 40 hours. Easy to find items making the entire economy moot with so much money you can buy all the fuel you need. Planets not really changing as you travel. 100% of planets have life. Tool seems to get worse as you level it. The level 1 version is the superior version. All ships have same storage. You'll have more storage in your suit than your ship.

Holy shit if this is true, review thread will be a bloodbath unlike anything this year.

Real talk. The atmosphere is top notch. I love that the jetpack gets you to high places. Glad this hasn't been cut off. They know how to play a game for once.

The goal of the game is to get out there and explore the galaxy, not stay in place and keep exploring the same planet from what we were talking about earlier, so I guess it makes sense that they aren't making it too hard to get off the first planet overall.

I remember reading somewhere that they're all different. Relative to their distance/position with their sun.

From my understanding, all planets use the same generic day/night cycle right now where 1 minute real world = 1 hour game world.
