Ah shit, i thought it was $399. Sorry!
Surface 2 would swing it for me then, cheaper and has that kickstand.
There is also 10% off coupon for Surface 2 or Surface Pro 2 for Microsoft online store. All you need its a EDU email address.

wtf Nokia? Where's my Cyan? The sleek design of the Nokia Lumia 2520 is available in red and black for Verizon Wireless customers, and black for AT&T Wireless customers.
wtf Nokia? Where's my Cyan?
Or Nokia is reserving the cyan for their lower priced WiFi only model.
Qualcomm just fired shots at the Surface 2 saying the Lumia 2520 destroys it in every way.
I did find it odd that Microsoft went with Nvidia again rather than Qualcomm.
Edit - Although in saying that...

What is this.No proper windows, no buy.
RT should just be killed already, especially now that you got proper windows 8 tablets coming out like the Dell Venue Pro 8 for only 299 USD.
Not only does the Dell Venue Pro 8 feature a stunning 8'' capacitive screen with active stylus support, but it has the same featureset as larger tablets - including the next generation of Intel Atom quad-core processing technology.
the argument is that intel now has chips that are as cheap as ARM and devices like the Lumia 2520 should have gone intel for the added benefit of being able to run legacy apps. What is this.
I don't get why this has to run legacy apps? Sorry, I didn't realise the iPad ran OSX.

basically intel fucked shit up for ARM and MS. RT devices are now competing with cheap full windows devices. yes RT is more secure but MS now has a tough sell on their hands. consumers are now focused on what RT "can't" do rather than it's advantages.
Intel processors still produce way more heat and also consume a lot more power, it's not at the point yet where ARM is obsolete.

I know that, problem is consumers won't be looking at a few hours of extra battery life, fan less hardware, lighter/thinner device, all they read and hear is the shit RT can't do.What are these devices? The new dell tablets? We don't even know the battery life on those. And they pretty much fail at running desktop apps anyways so what's the point?
S800 and Tegra4 also outperform Atom chips...
Looks like Windows RT is going to kick off. Are Dell, HP and Compaq making Windows RT tablets? Once they get the apps, I don't get why this shouldn't have the right to compete with iPads and Android tablets. What gives? Looks like a stellar device.
It won't be long until Intel has the GPU performance doing as well as the CPU side.

You know how many years I have been hearing this about Intel GPUs?
I would argue that the browser version of an app on Windows RT is a better experience than an app on a competing OS. So missing apps is not really a problem.
What is missing? Games? There are games.
The Windows 8 app store has pretty much everything you need. The mobile IE is the best mobile browser out there.
MS virals out in force.
I better not see you in any Android thread talking up apps when iOS exists then.

Rise from your grave!
I just picked up one of these for $99 from at&t. I really liked the idea of a totally mobile tablet and this price was hard to beat.
Now I need to get rid of my Dell Venue 8 Pro...
With contract right???
