waiting for nvidia profile inspector update to support this, nvidia app is the worst thing that happend to humanity, not going to use that.
"Our new NVIDIA app update also introduces a beta preview of Auto Shader Compilation, a new feature that rebuilds DirectX 12 game shaders after a driver update while your system is idle, or on demand, accelerating game load times."
This is great
What is working well? Is it full support immediately?Just tried this with Tokyo Xtreme Racer and it seems to be working really well. Going to test some more games.

I thought the same til I used it. Its pretty awesome. It helps immensely. Fake frames or not, it makes the game look so much smoother.Still don't see value having frame gen, if you have enough frames you don't need more, if you don't, generating them doesn't help. But at least it's more flexible with this.
Can i use dlss swapper or inspector to force this thing?
Does it work on crimson?
I tried RE9 dont think it works, Diablo IV very cool, Crimson Desert doesnt work. Trying cyberpunk next and some others,
Someone told me that the improvement were also for series 4000 users.People are reporting no visual changes for DLSS
As for Frame Generation, this only works for 5000 series, our cards dont support it
Crimson doesnt have support for it either way yet, i still only see preset A for framegen there, but youll get newer 3.10.6 models on lovelace.Someone told me that the improvement were also for series 4000 users.
Lovelace is series 4000 right?Crimson doesnt have support for it either way yet, but youll get newer 3.10.6 models on lovelace.
YesLovelace is series 4000 right?
Probably not yet, try to open the library and press refresh. I dont see it there but my version might be outdated, they might need to update the app, but thell likely just need to update the database. You can however download the .dlls and import them there already.Does dlss swapper already has the new version ready to use?
I'm gonna play crimson for a long time so i can wait for them to add it naturally, no rushYes

Yeah looks like it, which sucks. So this is something that has to be patched into the game to be used?

DLSS 4.5 also introduces a new DLSS Frame Generation model that enhances in-game user interfaces in select titles, by incorporating additional game engine data.

FrameGeneration recently received a new neural network with DLSS 4. Now, a further revision is following, which is available on all Nvidia graphics cards from the GeForce RTX 4000 series onwards – not just the RTX 5000.
Contrary to previous assumptions, this is only a revision of a specific area of the rendered image. The overall image quality remains unchanged; nothing has been altered there.
Preset B differs from Preset A in its handling of HUDs. Graphical user interfaces can be difficult for frame generation to process, and graphical glitches can occur relatively quickly. Preset B is intended to offer advantages over Preset A in this regard, but this feature has one requirement: the game must pass the "UI Depth Buffer" information to DLSS, which most games don't do. Consequently, there are currently only 20 games that support Preset B. More are expected to follow.

I don't think I really like this. Me chilling watching YouTube just to notice my CPU/gpu temp is rising for no reason ? Wtf no ty -_-"Our new NVIDIA app update also introduces a beta preview of Auto Shader Compilation, a new feature that rebuilds DirectX 12 game shaders after a driver update while your system is idle, or on demand, accelerating game load times."

What lol? Not sure how that impacts watching YouTube. Compiling in the background is great, plus optional.I don't think I really like this. Me chilling watching YouTube just to notice my CPU/gpu temp is rising for no reason ? Wtf no ty -_-
Dunno it did sound funny when I read it lolWhat lol? Not sure how that impacts watching YouTube. Compiling in the background is great, plus optional.
Yep, yet again you have the fancy new tech and your fancy new game, but it's not supported like RE9. This is my biggest issue with most of these NV app override solutions, doesn't do me much good if I have to test it in games that I finished and not playing anymore.I tried RE9 dont think it works, Diablo IV very cool, Crimson Desert doesnt work. Upscaling no.So anyone tried the newest DLSS version (310.6)?
Any improvements on the upscaling or frame generation?
improvements on the upscaling or frame generation?
DLSS swapper still doesn't let me choose presets for frame generationI only tested the new Preset B for framegen with Black Ops 7. Hud elements no longer get distorted when turning the camera at 2xFG vs. the old Preset A, so this alone makes it a worthwhile upgrade.

It probably came out 1 to 10 millions years before the Wright brothers.AI is our future. Soon DLSS5 will be out and AI will eventually surpass us in writing and art. Then AI will become critical infrastructure. It is also using less and less resources. Google just released an innovation that allows chat models to use 6x less ram. It's happening for us all and game graphics will go thru the roof. This is a great time to be alive.
You think it'll take a while to really get good right? It actually already is better than you think. Those naysayers will be proven wrong in short order.
You have used and loved AI for years. Why are we suddenly afraid now? AI is a friend in a lonesome universe and we don't have many. We should embrace it. Why are you okay with it altering your work but only so much? What's wrong with reimagining old works. These technologies change what we put on the screen using AI, to make it better. We should celebrate them.

How many years do you think this was before the wright brothers flew?

I don't see a topic and I am surprised nobody talked about DLSS enabler, you can use adaptive FG and 6x FG on 4000 series and they are adding more features like SSRGTI
I tested it on Alan Wake 2 with my 4080, actually does work

Indeed, I thought this would be similar to Lossless Scaling too, where you can target a specific framerate. Like this is basically useless to me, it's really disappointing.Basically useless if you care about frame pacing and staying inside the G-Sync window. As it has only integer ratio scaling for the multiplier, it under and over shoots your framerate target constantly. I only have a 144hz monitor so no point in using it. Better off sticking to fixed 2x or 3x ratio and leaving it alone.
Maybe some day they can get fractional multipliers to work with it, I don't see why they can't since lossless scaling does it just fine in software. Watch it be a 60 series feature.
