I was referring to all the back and forth and shit. Funny that the majority of gaf is obviously democratic but still tend to hate the other candidate either obama or clinton with all their heart. When its all said and done the party will be shattered....but then again this is gaf.

I'm convinced both Clinton and McCain will be status quo. Not necessarily in terms of policy but just in the way things are done. In the way the country operates. This country has gotten stale. Obama is a breath of fresh freakin' air and it's the best thing he has going for him.

I also find it interesting how some people are jumping on him because he's heard the pastor say other "controversial" things, and that means Obama should've completely left him.

Last time I checked, "controversial" doesn't necessarily mean it's wrong, and it doesn't even necessarily mean it's hateful. It was "controversial" at one point for anyone to speak out against the Iraq War. It was "controversial" for the founders to leave England and create a new country. I'm sure that Jesus guy was seen as "controversial", but people seemed to eventually like him.

But for some reason, people assume that "controversial" with this pastor automatically means that he was saying "Kill Whitey! They Gots To Die!" for the past 20 years or something.

but I'm biased I guess since I don't even think a lot of the supposed "hateful" comments were so incredibly horrible in the first place. Over the top and wildly inaccurate in some cases (AIDS)? Sure. Completely without merit, comparable to the Ku Klux Klan, and worth immediately disowning the dude? Hell no.

Many people on the right today would totally crucify Jesus. I mean he kept company with prostitutes and tax collectors. Funny how Jesus said to reject sinful actions not the person, but when we look at many fundamentalist today they are the complete opposite. The right today would give no respect to Jesus because of his friends.

So the sermons were something you would take a young child to and be comfortable with it? Is talking about bill riding diry with monica something a 6 year old should hear during church? It was hate speech and Obama should of left the church the second he got the racist vibe from wright. Obama by sitting there sunday after sunday basically endorced what wright said by not speaking up.

How do you know there children where there when controversial things were said? :P

No it doesn't. Fox news preaches to sheep. They were never going to vote obama
a few show hosts, unlike msnbc (who is more bias then fox and any other news organization) have said they would vote for hillary (ann coulter, chris dodd) and obama (combs).

some of you guys really need to stop kidding yourselves. Msnbc caters directly to liberals and fox caters directly to conservatives. FACT. Fox isn't the only ones being bias here.

You think that kids wasn't at church when he stated any of that shit??? :lol

Chris Dodd? The democratic senator? Voting democratic? No fucking way.

And if you actually think Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, etc. are going to vote democratic then... :lol

What, I hope I'm wrong I really do, but everyones making such a big issue out of this stupid shit. It's literally everywhere and all I see are people criticizing him on newscasts.

They were prostitutes and tax collectors. Jesus didn't make excuses for their failings or transgressions. He showed them how to change from who they were in to someone better and someone not shackled down by their carnal nature.

Don't try to make it sound like he was actually surrounding himself with pimps, whores, and tax collectors for they weren't any of that after they were in his presence.

If America falls for this stupidity, then they deserve Bush and any politics like his. They must continue to be punished until the error of their ignorance is revealed to them, and they become more sensible non-retard citizens. That's the long and short of it. It just wasn't meant to be otherwise

Like I said, Obama had to come out like he did. If America falls for the bullshit, they're not ready for him. But he has been unwavering in his approach. It's up to America to decide if that's what they want in a president.

he'll still win the primary me thinks, but the general won't be as breezy as many of you guys thinks.

Obama is associated with a well known american terrorist and a ball on the wall pastor.

not the senator, might of got the name wrong but he's a democrat on fox...shocking i know.

Ann Coulter made it publicly that she'll vote for hillary if she go against mccain. Its quite moot knowing that republicans will vote for mccain anyway and her voice is pretty shitty for most republicans....and Rush limbaugh isn't on fox. :p

That is an extremely ignorant thing to say, and really makes me wonder if the "messiah" jokes actually have weight.

Is what everything obama has said, shown, whatever to you that gave you so much hope that worthless? Is it really devoid of any value?

It has nothing to do with me. I'm not one of the retard-level Americans incapable of common sense that have allowed themselves to be sucker punched out of the realities of this situation, due to 24 hour media soundbites and black-and-white politics.

If you are one of those, I can't really help you out. I don't pretend to be Obama, after all. I'm just intelligent enough to not fall for the media bullshit.

Like I said, a white religious leader makes anti semitic comments, he's a nutcase. A black man makes anti semitic comments, hes the racist leader of a black terroristic separatist group.

no, he's a spirital advisor to a presidential candidate, not "black man makes anti semitic comments, hes the racist leader of a black terroristic separatist group" :/

You pretty much just said stuff can't improve without Barack obama. That is a...really fascist thing to say actually.

If you can't stand these retarded Americans, then you should move. Barack obama can lose for legit reasons that don't involve this, and the idea that him losing makes the american people retarded is a pretty dumb thing to say imo.

Also talk like that is the reason why "Obama the messiah" joke has gotten so large.

:lol :lol what an ad for a thread on Obama

those of you guys that doesn't know the megaton of William Ayers should really brace your selfs for a epic meltdown. I'm not saying that obama will get owned or anything, but its clearly true that america doesn't know that. That and this will hurt him.

Its all over the conservative radio stations. :lol

famous leader of Weathermen hippie American terrorist group. I expressed concern at Obama's involvement with him earlier this year, but truthfully the involvement doesn't go deep at all.

It can't, if the other candidates are Hillary Clinton and John McCain. And, coincidentally, they are.

Hahaha, as if I should move due to inferior Americans. Nah, we'll find a way to revoke their citizenship rights at some point in the future. Right now I respect your right to disagree with me!

Anyway, the idea that this specific event would cause Obama to lose is what makes America potentially retarded. In any event, if he lost by legitimate means (I'm guessing you include 'mass stupidity' as legitimate) then sure what can I do. America voted Bush into office twice, that's probably more evidence of their total average sub-70 IQ level anyway.

Really they were pretty dumb terrorists, they only managed to kill their own people in a failed bomb making experiment :lol

News stations will latch on to any dirt they find.

good lord people.

and the fact that Ari listens to Rush and Hannity on the radio gives people a pretty good idea of the mindset we are dealing with.

This shit has been known for MONTHS. Doubtless they will bring it up in the future, but I don't think it has too much legs. They weren't close like Wright.

For Fucks Sake people at least use "Bias" and "Biased" right when criticizing a media outlet for having a Bias, or being Biased

All other grammatical mistakes are okay, the Bias/Biased mistake is the only one that matters.

So should Obama return the $200 donation from Ayers 25 years ago? That connection is pretty damn tenous.

I just watched and :lol

well, you're asking the wrong person. I don't necessarily think that him making that comment is gonna scar some kid for life or anything. Like I said, over the top? Sure. Horrible example of an old man trying to use hip-hop slang and connect to young people? I can't dispute that. But the main point that he's making is that Bill Clinton wasn't the savior of black people or "first black president" like some seem to think he is. There were failed policies during his candidacy that hurt a lot of people.

Some preachers (especially black preachers) love to put on a show like that. Laughter, dancing, borderline crass comments are part of that when trying to get across their larger message. As a former member of TD Jakes' church, he did the same type of shit.

Do I personally agree with it? Well I'm an atheist, so uh, there's that. And I do find it all a bit silly (I'm not a huge supporter of the whole mega church phenomenon). But the larger point is: Why do we necessarily care about that when it comes to Obama running for president? Whether his church or his pastor is appropriate for kids is for him and his own family to figure out. And maybe, just maybe, whatever positive things they did in the community far outweighed the pastor making a crass joke as part of a larger message.

Wtf, are you dense? He is saying that if Americans fall for this Wright/guilt-by-association bullshit then they deserve what they get. I know you need to fill your hourly "omg obama ain't no messiah" quota, but at least choose a post that is even partially applicable to your transparent agenda.

yes.. i know. but what exactly was the extent of their relationship? it really is a non-issue.. which is why it barely got play when it was first 'discovered.' you can bet your ass that this would have already been blown up if it was possible.

Ya, but why did this whole situation blow up now? I mean he was obama's pastor for a number of years and he's been saying similar stuff before. I wouldn't be surprised if Hilary and co. are just waiting for the right moment to spring this into action too.

being a member of the scene, Obama accepted a $200 dollar donation from the man. 25 years ago.

Yeah, down with his presidency! He did drugs too (but he exaggerated how much in his book, another fabrication)!

with interest, and when he does, punch him in the face while screaming america. Thats the only real way to prove he means it

I wouldn't be surprised, Jeremiah Wright was revealed quite a while ago despite not gaining traction till last week.

I know this a tired argument, but I have to ask. What is so special about whatever Barack is going to do that will undoubtedly save this country from it's evil future. Something Hillary and mcCain won't do.

Especially Hillary. It's not like they are different on any issue.

Ami, you know that is full of shit. Obama is going to win. The only people who are think he is going to lose are

1) people who like being victims
2) foam at the mouth Obama supporters(Harson, Lefty, Zeed, Half of the OT). The very thought of obama losing sets them in a rage greater than a mother saving her baby
*3) Newscasters

*(They know Obama will win as well, but group 1 and 2 will watch their channel if they report the news in a way that will force engagement. For people who hate Fox News, they sure as hell watch it a lot)

ALSO, for the record, I don't think Hillary Clinton would dare bring this Weather Underground business up.

Because Bill Clinton pardoned major Weather Underground members Susan Rosenberg and Linda Sue Evans shortly before leaving office in 2001.

Which is WAY FUCKING WORSE than accepting a 200 dollar donation from Ayers 25 years ago.
