Not sure if it has been mentioned but The Dog Island is basically Zelda for the kiddies, but adults can play and enjoy it as well. Has a CRAZY story that few will get to enjoy. Highly recommended as a 'relax' type of game, one in which to unwind, especially if you're a fan of dogs.

It's not really obscure, and it was on the PS3 as well as the Wii, but Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes is pretty darn fun.

Not obscure, but definitely underrated.

Try out Super Paper Mario. Don't pay any mind to internet reception. Whether you've played Paper Mario before or not, give it a try. Let us know how that works for you.
